i recently sent this crook a check thinking mopar guys are honest it was only for a rim but by the time you convert it to Canadian dollars it adds up. He was suppose to send it to my American post address but never sent it and never answers the phone. Even tried a out of province number in case he was blocking mine , he is ripping people off so stay away from this junk.
 
I thought he was frrom Calfornia? There is another thread about his dealings.

He is, I am in Canada, tried to deal with him. Tried calling him from two different area codes to see if he was blocking my calls . Can't get a hold of him no how. He cashed my check and now unreachable

OP sounds like a bummer. I've dealt with a lot of members here on FABO and they all have been honest to a fault.

I feel for you. If the dude is in jail you may want to check it out and see if he has a lawyer and contact him.

I’m curious, how long ago did the deal go down? Last I heard he was in jail for something like tax evasion. His “crew” looked like they loved the drug n thug life. Don’t know if he was into that. He use to attend the mopar shows here in the west but I haven’t seen him in probably the last 4-5 years...
Maybe he’s back and scamming people?

He did this to my 71 barracuda. Took it apart to money to restore it .I finally got it back after 3 years but out about $15,00£ and some parts . The guy is a crook.

He used to do the Flings in CA and the MATS but as stated he hasn't showed up for about 4 years now. He has a lot of really nice stuff but is very, very expensive. I've been to his place west of Victorville off of CA hwy 18. He is also very arrogant and thinks he knows everything there is to know about Mopars. Heard he went through a nasty divorce but that was just hearsay. He did rip of a guy in Australia and then **** little purple turnips when the guy showed up at his door. With the way he ran in business and the losers he hired I wouldn't be surprised if he is jail for tax evasion or something. Might check with the San Bernardino county courts.

I know a guy who has a huge judgement against him. Daryl is in hiding now from what I here . This time he screwed with the wrong person . He's in deep ****.

Ok ya I located it. Looked bigger in his business card logo. I agree on the spotty communication. I live an hour and a half from him. Im testing the waters. Says he's got a 70 charger project car, but hasn't sent pics/price yet. So we'll see.
 
Was talking to a guy today on the east coast of Australia he bought a couple of Challenger doors off Finch who quoted that they were like new so he said he would take them .
When the doors turned up in Australia they were rubbish totally rusted & unusable.
As this chap goes to the US regularly he called Finch while in the US & said he would like to buy some parts off him when he turned up Finch greeted him & asked if they had met before to which he replied yes i am the guy from Australia that you tried to rip off .
Without a blink Finch said follow me you can have any doors you want so he picked a set of immaculate unmarked B5 doors he wasn't expecting that

That is the story I heard.
 
Sounds like a dick. I just took apart a "rebuilt 440" that was bought by a friend from a local "dealer". Asked me to check it out because of the seller's rep. Block is ok, pistons are ok. Heads are clean but worn and have never had major work. Cam and lifters were rusty and anything not included in the rotating assembly has no assembly lube or lubricant on it anywhere. Crank is trashed. Spun the #1 rod bearing. Crank needs welding to fix, and rods need to be redone. Knowing this seller for 30 years I can't tell if he is stupid or just a crook. I'm leaning towards a combination of the two.
 
He sold me a lower trunk trim for my 1968 barracuda, when it got here it was the upper pice so much for knowing what he is selling. I sent it back to him, when I asked him to reimburse me for the shipping he said he was broke. He keeps jerking me around on getting the correct part. Stay clear of this guy
