I am trying to find information if the stamping was the same for 67 through 69 Dodge Dart and 67 through 69 Plymouth Valiant. I saw an ad on Craigslist for a Fender that was said to fit 69 Dodge Dart that originally came off of a valiant. I was not aware they interchange. I need fenders and I know where a Valiant in a wrecking yard is.

Dodge and Plymouth used different fenders so no

The Plymouth valiant ones are several inches shorter and the wheel opening is an arch shape

The dodge Dart fenders are longer and have a flair at the rear of the wheel opening

only way they can interchange is if you use the whole front end ( hood bumper and grille )

That is what i thought

I asked another question in another thread but I will put it here too. Can you use a 1973 and up fender as direct replacement on a 1967, 68, or 69 ? Market lights not withstanding. I found a guy selling a fender fairly cheep. It looks like a 67 fender in shape but he says it was a 73 but he used it on his 68. If I can use 73 and up fenders that opens up huge amount of salvage parts available. I know the 73 is part of the beak nose front ends but fenders look similar.

The 73 and newer Dart fenders are the same shape as the 67-69 Dart fender. Marker lights are different, as is the headlight area, but yes, they can be installed with some modifications.
Valiant fenders are a whole different shape.
69 Dart Fenders are a one year deal because besides the side marker, they have the headlight set further up and back compared to 67-68 Dart.

That is awesome information. What modification will need to be done to fit a 73 on a 67 Dart. I know the side marker light is deleted on the 67. Can I just bolt my existing headlight bucket into the 73 or is their more fab work needed
