Dome Lighting Question

I've Just Done Some Wiring Upgrade Work To My'72 Duster Removed All Hacked Up Wiring, Replaced A Few Things When My Alternator Took A $¿/€€<°§ Car Is Now Running Fine And Ready For Daily Driving But Have A Problem With The Dome Light Have Followed The Wiring Diagrams And Still Can't Get It To Work
 
What is it doing? the dome light is a open ground circuit. Like the door close, the switch is open, open the door the switch closes and the light comes on.

As My Pics Show There Was A Lot Of Hacks And I Returned The Wiring Back To Almost Factory But I Lost A Few Pics Of The Before For Reference Need Help To Attach The Correct Wire To The Relay (Note I'm Not Reattaching The Map Light)
 
Have you a manual? It will have a wiring diagram in it which will show the wire and color. I know that is is a loaded question, you may have the manual.
 
Does it work from the headlight switch? That's the otherr way to turn it on.
 
1....Dome light should have power to one terminal of the lamp all the time. The socket is a 2 terminal socket THE SHELL does nothing.

2...Second lamp terminal goes to yellow, and this is "common" with all other come/ courtesy lighting. You ground a yellow, the lamp should light

Com When I First Started This Little Project I Will Follow Thru With Everyone's Suggestions And Keep Everyone Posted Thanks Again I Couldn't Have Gotten This Far In This Project Without Everyone's I'm out And When I Finally Give This To A Very Young Family Member (Navy) I'll Let Them Know Where To Find An Answer For Any Problems No Matter How Small Thanks Again And Now I'll Be Looking For My Second Project Ride Anyone Have A Early Dodge Truck I Have A Couple Of Power Plants Just Itching To Get Out There Crates Lol
