Check this out!!!Hopefully this system will work for all of us

Cool. A solution to a problem I've never had...lol. But I'm sure some can use something like that.

These guys were definitely thinking outside the box on this one. Space availability is definitely a nagging issue for a niche amount of owners who feel they need an electric fan kit. (I can think of about 4 or 5 very unique car/truck applications where you just physically can't get a fan kit to fit and are forced to put the fans on the front side) Even for those owners, I don't like that a good chunk of core has to be removed from the center of the radiator. What happens to the flow when the cooling tubes reach that box? Cavitation? I don't like that the fan has to be literally mounted to the core. Vibration? I don't like the row of vents on the one side of the radiator and I am willing to bet that none of us are going to like the price. However, I'll be sure to tune in if one of you wants to purchase and tell us all about it. I'm always open to new ideas and appreciate when risks are taken.

It's a good idea and I love that they fitted a shroud.
That said, they're losing a LOT of cooling by not putting on the little rubber flaps that a late model oe radiator has

"...might change your life"...thats hilarious.
cant have much of one going on if thats the case.

that fan better be very well balanced.

I think all fans should be very well balanced. This one is no different from another. As far as the tubes they could just diverge...very very small head loss in even a 90 degree bend on such a small area of tubes given the total dimension..and one would need to consider the efficiency of the entire radiator which will likely exceed what one would need anyway provided they have a properly tuned engine. The slots on the inside that increase flow I'm not too sure about. It depends on how that air flow is diverted. It might not be good for warm air being pulled from the engine compartment and into the front of the fan. However they might channel that flow somehow that I didn't see in the pics. Without knowing much more detail looks like a good problem solver. I don't have a dog in the fight though..no electric fan if I can help it.

I bought a direct fit Griffin radiator with a custom shroud and electric fan about 8 years ago. No matter what I did, I could not get the level of cooling I needed. I finally pulled the electric fan and went with a conventional fan and shroud. All good now. If you like electric fans, those do look cool.

A non existing problem for small block, pretty limited space after big block swaps

how did they solve it with the M code cars?
the ones that came stock with a big block ?

my point is, they were installing both big and small blocks in A bodies all throughout the late 60s, and they fit, radiator, fan and all

I'm not arguing your point just saying space is more limited and options are nice there can always be improvements made to the way things have traditionally been done.
