Doesnt look like ya have to this year Pete. Its going to be in the same location according to this.
Midwest Mopars in the Park – National Car Show and Swap Meet

From a member on FCBO:

I got confirmation from Renee...one of the organizers via email today...it's definitely moving to Washington Co. because of the Dakota Co. increased expense...just like Scott mentioned. It's supposed to be published in November Midwest Mopar newsletter, too.

So keep that room open Ramie!

Too bad they don't do it at BIR. We could drag race, road course, do the Dodge ride alongs on the road course, have the swap area in the pits, and show cars everywhere else.

A couple of our Mopar club guys went north to check out the new site. It will have to do. A long way from any camping for us. We will just rent rooms and party at the Motel. Smaller venue than Farmington and not laid out as well. It's the people and the cars that make the show. We'll have a fun time.

Anyone looking at places to stay yet?
I've been talking to ZMan67S and gave him these links.

Check this link, stay away from the Inns in Stillwater unless you have money to spend.. With the exception of Comfort Inn. Most of those Inns are bed and breakfast types.

I'll open up my house as well to anyone, I live about 8 miles from the fair grounds. I have 1 bedroom with a queen bed and a finished basement, so if you have air mattresses etc you could stay down there also. If there is enough interest I figured I would have a BBQ/get together at my house.

Ramie, thanks for the offer to stay at your place. Talking with the wives, and having 2 trailers probably won’t work parked at your house. Which place would you recommend as far as trailer parking access? Also like to get a place close to your house, and yes a BBQ sounds like a great idea!

We were talking last night. Toby likes to check stuff out. He is checking about all the possibilities. Nobody likes change but we will adapt and have a great time doing it.

Hopefully there is ample trailer parking at fairgrounds.
Dragging around my trailer last year was a PITA when trying to find a place to eat at night.

I might stay at my folks house in the southwest suburbs, save a lot of driving, not that I mind racking up miles.

And BBQ get together at Ramie's sounds like a super idea.
Thanks for offering!
No problem! We can certainly discuss details as it gets closer. Not to mention gives me a good reason to get a different grill,

I have room for a standard 20-35' trailer in front of my house and even on the other side (corner lot), so leaves me 2 long curbs to horde. Heck my travel trailer sits out front for days at a time, and never any problems.

We need to do everything we can to make it successful it's such a great show. We just had a meeting last night for our North Iowa Mopars group. We are going to re organize and hopefully rent the drag strip for our Mopar Max weekend. We want for it to be a success. If we rely on the drag strip on or to give us a weekend for our show it's usually in October and so darn cold that nobody wants to show up. If we rent the dragstrip will be more in control of what we can we get and will get the profits from the weekend as well.

hey guys,
we have been camping at the Farmington show for the last 6 years or so, and also have a 32' car trailer we bring up to the show, is there any camping on the grounds in Stillwater? is there camoing near by? any info would be great, thanks

No on the camping on the grounds.

Here's the layout. The roadways are paved from what I understand. I don't know if they will use the soccer field in the upper right. If it rains and the ground is soft it could damage the field. Not much shade either. Bring lots of beer.

On the corner of 40th street and MCFair it looks like a parking area, and at a high grade @toolmanmike , that would make for good camping..
