If I can get away from the "honey do's"
When I come down I usually show up at the Pavilions around 2 or so, then later head over to 67th and Bell for that one.
1/2 the fun for me is the couple of hundred miles of driving.

If I get the windshield fixed in time, but I doubt it.
Trailbeast, on goodguys last year at Pavillions, I got there at about 9 am and it was packed already

That's ok, I don't have to park in the show parking.:D

Finally had my new windshield put in yesterday. Veterans Auto Glass came out and installed it.
Installer was great, but I suggest that they send two installers when working on a vintage/classic car.
The old style of gaskets are a pain to install and a single guy will spend much more than twice as long installing it and two guys would

Same when I had mine installed in my former Dart. I ended up helping him to get it done. They gave me the locking strip for my trouble

How much did you pay for glass and where did you get seal

How much did you pay for glass and where did you get seal

Every thing was included all parts. My insurance covered this 100%. It is my understanding the price for a person
who pays cash and an insurance company price are vastly different, so I am very hesitant to publish the price

I'm usually there, Dec 8th is mopar night and they get a good turn out

excellent...I was wondering when the next mixteca mopar night was...whats the best time to get there? before 4 i'd imagine...

just welded in the bungs and hooked up the a/f meter doohickey on the Demon
getting closer to the end of the "get it done before finishing the paint" list!

I have been having a problem where the Duster will be driving down the street and then just quit. Happens usually one or more times on a excursion. Now the key start does not return to the run position after starting the engine, so I need to force it into a position that it will run.

The answer turned out to be one part. I pulled the steering column apart and tried on numerous occasions to remove the key lock and cylinder. I was unable to accomplish this. So I paid close attention to the ignition switch and decided to replace it. I ordered it from Oreilys and had the part 2 hours later.

That was the problem, it was not the key lock cylinder as first thought. Seems in the last three years, since I put in the ignition switch, it had developed a dead spot next to the run position. I noticed the car with just stop. PERIOD no spudder just died cleanly.

cost a whole $50 for the part, and I should have the dash cluster back in tomorrow in time for Mopar nite
