Will trade 1968 header panel and emblem for a 1967 one with letters

Panel in good shape with no body work

Or buy 1967 header panel outright if you have one you do not need

Thanks,

Bryan

hmmm aren't they the same panel ? the 69 has the bump to match the hood ridge but 67 and 68 hoods are both flat along the front edge .

The difference is the 67 has Plymouth in individual single letters across the face. The 68 has Plymouth script on the left side more on one end. Otherwise as far as fit etc. I believe you are correct - they are the same.

Best regards,

Bryan

I have access to a 67 panel in Nevada and am looking for a 68 panel for my car. My panel doesn’t have any of the individual Plymouth letters on the front though but would be interested in a trade.

does it have the holes in it for the letters? If so I would e interested. If not it would be the same and not make sense.

Best regarrds,

Bryan

well would'nt it be easier to just change the badging ? Drilling a few holes makes a lot more sense than swapping the whole panel to me .

Only if you know exactly where those holes belong. I made a paper template of this hole pattern for a member here once. Wasn't a simple task but it did work for him. It was located with the bolt holes at core support.

Still probably a heck if a lot easier and cheaper than swapping the whole panel , thats kind of like cutting off your face because you want different eyebrows isn't it ?

The car is not painted and the panel is not bolted on so now would be the best time to make switch.

Best regards,

Bryan
