My son's 70 came to us with no tabs on the lower arms. I bought some of the aftermarket weld on tabs and bolted on a stock front bar. After about 5 months one of them broke. Cheap stuff, thinner metal than stock tabs. So what I'm looking for is a front bar maybe larger than stock that comes with bolt on tabs. It seems I've heard of this set up for the spool K but is anyone aware of one for the biscuit K-frame? Also I'm running stock 73 front disc with the calipers placed on the back side. Pic is bottom of tab where the end link goes through. Thanks!

Make them from scratch. Not much to them and not too critical on location as long as you can line up the links.

Hellwig's front sway bar kits include a very heavy duty set of bolt on tabs. The look nothing like stock, and are really thick. They could be welded on just like the Hotchkis tabs. Hellwig makes two different bars for the earlier K's, one stock style and one "pro-touring" style that has extra wheel clearance in case you want to run anything wider than a 235 up front.

I also have a set of Hotchkis tabs, even they're heavier duty than the originals were.

Hotchkiss makes the tabs.
Hotchkis makes factory style sway bar mount tabs for the.
73-76 A Body cars.
70-72 B Body cars
70-74 E Body cars
Which all use the same style tab
66-69 B Body cars.
But they Do Not make a factory style tab for the 65-72 A Body cars.
Don't know what type of tab they may have for their own designed sway bars.

Just weld it on where it needs to be. Doesn’t matter if it’s for an A/B/E.

The weld on tabs that Hotchkis supplies with its 67-72 A-body sway bars are identical to the tabs they provide for their 70-74 E-body sway bars. I have both, it's the same exact part. It's not a factory reproduction either. Same basic shape, but the Hotchkis tabs are much thicker and not the same dimensions as the stock tabs. If you're just buying the tabs it's part # 23367.

The Hotchkis sway bars don't use the factory sway bar tab location for the 67-72 A-body front sway bars anyway.

Firm feel has a bolt-on arrangement, but you'll have to check with them whether they will be spaced properly for the bar you have.

That's what I did with the POS tabs. Now if I'm going to weld another set on I gotta cut these off and clean up the arms for new tabs. looks like a PITA.

I'm gonna look into the pro touring bar that you mentioned. We do have 5" BS rims and I noticed a slight kiss of the tire on the stock bar. Thanks.

There's a newer bar made that uses the lower shock mounts instead of tabs.

Mfg escapes me but it's one of the big names.

For your viewing pleasure, I just completed this Hotchkis install for my 70 Dart. As you see it is still upside down on the work table. The instruction sheet was okay, but photos in it were dark and hard to tell detail, and the sway bar brackets are not the same shape as pictured. It is a 1-1/2" diameter bar. End link tabs are welded near the top of the LCA. The bar now interferes with the

with the supply of LCAs with sway bar tabs drying up, I'm just shocked that someone hasn't started making factory style tabs (repops) so that you can add them to non-tabbed LCAs!!?!?

In the middle of doing the Hellwig bar. Beefy tabs for sure.

Looks like you needed to locate the tabs on an angle away from the strut rods. Not sure how to fix what you have now.
