does any one offer an over size cam bearing set? I have spun bearing and block might be done for.

I thought I remember finding 5.7 cam bearings back when I built my engine years ago, but they were quite pricey so I didn't end up putting new ones in. It was something like $30 each instead of $30 for a set. Haven't looked in a long time though and not sure if the 6.1 shares a common size or not.

Which position spun? I'll look up substitutes once we know which one.

Still cheaper than buying another block.

Yes you can repair the cam tunnel . But if the block is toast , WTF . It takes a good auto machinist to line bore the saddles and use over size cam bearings or , my favorite, roller cam bearings .

Think I`d investigate to see if the block has enough material to go w/ roller bearings too !
