Wicked cool! These Highway 61 1/18 Darts (68-71) have gone through the roof price-wise. Love to get my hands on more than the one 70 Swinger 340 I have but it's almost cheaper to buy real cars! :eek:

Now I'm waiting for a 1972 Schinznach (Swiss) Demon scale model by Highway 61- as rare as the Canadian Swingers...

are the 72 Canadian Swingers about 4 times (or 2 times if H-code is the criteria) rarer than the 72 Swiss Demons.
In comparison are the Schinznach Demons definitely a mass product... ;-)
 
Man, I have been looking for this model for months. Found 1 on Ebay around Christmas but didnt have the funds. Did you just buy this?
Nope. I've had it since they were released. I'll keep my eyes open for one and PM you if I see one.
 
I waited for almost 2 years after ordering my green 70, then went on a bit of a binge and bought that yellow car, love the Alberta plate, also bought a panther pink model. They go well with my 68 and 69 383 GTS Darts, the 69 has the Mod Top. Also have the Bullitt Charger, Phantasm 71 Cuda 340, and Sox and Martin Superbird. I have plenty of plastic Mopars too.
 
Looks like your model is GY3 Citron Yellow. Only two 71 340 swingers were known to be built in GY3. Both sold new at the Regina Crestview dealership. This is one of the two, originally a 4spd car too. Seen better days as it was rolled and current owner knows what he has and wants to be paid well to let it go.

You got that all spot-on, CR-MOPAR. Yes, a unique version of the 18-20 built for Crestview Dodge in Regina and if some autobody guy has the time and resources to tackle it, that would be the only way it could be viable, monetarily, because you'd have to pay dearly for the hulk, then all the body work that would have to go into it. Hiring it out to a big 'restoration' shop would be astronomical. Hey, but anything hopefully could happen with it. Keeping my fingers crossed
