If you ever wonder they make a "chrome" vinyl wrap that will stretch over your bumpers. Peel it off if you don't like it.

A nice crisp fall day. Perfect for a cruise in Misty to fetch some paint roller sleeves from Lowes.

The front seat upholstery arrived yesterday. I’m going to pull the seat out and take it to the shop that did my dash pad and have them put it on.
Still hoping to get a few more rides in before there is any salt on the roads, so the upholstery can wait until it’s really winter.

I’m also hoping Santa brings this Custom Autosound USA-740 in dash stereo. Looks period correct but it has all the modern stuff I want.

Custom Autosound USA-740 Classic Car Radio With Bluetooth

I have a cool looking Panasonic in the dash and a nice pioneer digital receiver in the glovebox, but it’s a pain in the *** to operate it hidden away like that.

The Custom Autosound unit does it all and more with more power and it will be right there why I can get at it.

Also looking to swap a new steering column in. The one in the care is from a 68 and I now have a nice column from a 74. Once painted and rebuilt I’ll put it
In.

While the column is out I’ll change the cluster lamps to some bright LEDs

The thought of getting the classic auto air underhood stuff has crossed my mind, but I think the AC can wait another year. I know my buddy Sireland has the OEM underhood setup he will sell me. Maybe next year..

That radio will look nice in there.
I still have the AC stuff here, bolted to an engine.

That thing looks so good!
What sizes are the tires and wheels?
Cooper Cobra RWL turned in 215/65/15 on Vision 7" Nitro up front.
Cooper Cobra RWL turned in 245-60/15 on Vision 8" Nitro out Back.
The wheels are knock offs of Welds from Summit. They only come with 4" back space. If the wheels came with (edit smaller not bigger) backspace I could get a 275 on there easy.
But such are the limitations of wanting to keep the car stock and buying readily available inexpensive wheels. I have had a few guys to tell me to run a small spacer and go wider. I don't mind the 245s....

Thank you that looks great!
We all got to stay within our limitations:)

Can anyone make a recommendation for LED bulbs to replace the stock instrument cluster bulbs?
How do like them and where did you buy them?

I found some on eBay. Not sure the brand but didnt cost much. So far seem to work ok.
