Applebees beer fraud

Size may be right if filled all the way.
That tall one wasn't filled to the rim (the widest part). Have not been there in a while, so can't say how they actually fill them. Deceptive shaped glasses are nothing new though.

I believe Chillies uses the same tall glass, I always get the small mug, 2 oz. Is not worth another buck in my book

Same. Regardless of the place. I usually figure the 'big beer' option is a scam.

It's easy enough to do the math to see which one is more cost effective - assuming both glass volumes are as advertised. I'd say the difference in the two glass in the video is easily 4 oz. As noted, the tall one isn't filled all the way to start with.

I question the volume of the "pint glass" in the first video. It's probably around 12-ish.
Agreed. The first video isn't a true test. You don't know for sure how big the regular glass is. The second and third video are specific amounts.

I try not to order any drinks in restaurants, soda nor beer, etc. The drinks are big money makers and I prefer to get my fluids at home.

Back in the 80's my uncle worked briefly at a bar.

He brought home, and I still have a few 11 oz "cheater" mugs.

There used to be a place around here that "nickel beer" on Wednesdays.
The mugs they used were quite a joke.
The recess on the bottom was almost the same size as the top portion where the drink went.
IIRC a friend and I measured it to be 5.5 oz.

...and the last three times I was at applebees, I ordered the rib tips.

same thing every time- totally inedible

nothing but fat and tiny bone chips.

how in hell are they selling those?

haven't been there in years

Why would you order the same thing 2 more times if it sucked the first time? :poke:lol
Their burgers and most appetizers are actually pretty good.

I ordered them once and wasn't impressed myself. Otherwise I like their food.

to see if there was a bad batch or if the quality improved.

sometimes it does
