Anyone know what's going on with this company and Kim? She's had my wiper motor since August I talked to her once after her accident and have had no luck since then. Thanks Dan

Have you e mailed her? That always seemed to get the quickest response.

Wow after reading threads on multiple forums, what in the holy hell?
Thanks Del for the link!
Good luck dealing with that psycho scam artist lol.
This needs to hit as many forums as possible.

Hate to say it, but I figured her out years ago. I was going to send her a wiper motor and asked her a couple questions about repair and turned out she didn't (at that time) do anything more than make it look pretty. That just sounded so ridiculous that I didn't follow through. After that, I heard some good reports and some bad ones too. Too many bad ones for me to change my mind.

Jules Da Wiperman was still alive and kicking then and he got my business.

I got a wiper motor from her about 5 years ago it was sent out fast and it looks and works great . I sent her a core for the 125.00 exchange I forgot about it for a few months then looked and I was never paid so I phone her up and she paid it the next day . I never cracked it open to see what's inside it could be all old parts I can't say .

I don't know but a few quick hits on the www seems like there might be problems last couple/ three years

BEWARE: Kim Passion For Mopars

:wtf:

Seriously, the whole "Mom has dementia/Parkinson's/sister had a stroke and her kidneys failed/my shop got wiped out by the hurricane/my dog got effed up sounds either phony or this chick is one serious **** magnet.

4404spd any news?
I tried calling about 6 times today and left message after message for her with no reply. This is heart breaking its the original 3 speed for my 69 Dart Convertible. I got one from her in 2011 for my 69 Barracuda and it was quick and easy never look for feedback this time around because the service was good back then.

1 Time I did talk to her she did babble for a long time and when I got off the phone I thought she's a F'in wacko. I have another 3 speed motor here but I wanted that one back I even told her that.

Let me guess: she talked everything but business.

Yep, She had some kind of accident and lost some front teeth I guess.

Been my experience, when people talk everything but business they're trying to distract from why you called and hope you forget it. Usually the first sign of a crook.

Watched a former boss do that.

The boat we were building for Iceland was six months behind deadline and the hull hadn't even been completely built.

He spent the morning leading the customers around showing them the boats for Dubai and Sweden. Sweden was just started and Dubai was just getting finished.

The customers never said a word, just followed him around, listening to him brag about how awesome he is, kept them away from their own boat.

They all went to lunch. Two hours later he walked in the shop, looking green. He and the customers were all over their boat.

The next morning the fabricators were all over the boat for Iceland and it became priority.

Something tells me this chick is the same way. From the long winded woe is me post on the other forum, never once did she address her business, but, by God, she wanted everyone to focus on her for everything but.

Well I guess im out a wiper motor and its my original, She will not answer her phone or return calls. I wonder If I can call the local police there?

At this point if she could find it, and if she would release it to them (police), I will go pick it up and ship it to you. I'm local.

I had great luck with the District Attorney's office getting some action on an ebay purchase gone bad. Find out what county she's in and find their number online. Most have an Internet Fraud Division and take these situations seriously.

I personally hate to see flakey ladies in the hot rod industry. Their tarnish seems to give all of us a lame rap.

A Red X?
You may feel that way.
But I hope and don't think it's true that all women are painted with that wide makeup brush.
It's not the way I think anyway.
All men are not pecker heads just because some are.:)

Well, my dad always told me that ladies in any male-dominated industry basically need to be twice as good as their male counterparts. What I've read over the last few years about her is sad for the entire hot rod hobby and gives ALL restorers cause for alarm. We need to support those who support us from a hobby perspective -- we're all in this together! -- but it's tough to lend support when the reputation is going down in flames.

Kim finally contacted me yesterday and told me its being rebuilt now, we will see. Told me the same story about getting her teeth knocked out I think she forgot she told me that 3 months ago.

Well its been a month since I last talked to her she told me it would be done in a week. She won't answer my calls, emails or messages I leave her. WTF is wrong with people. I enclosed both emails from her. dated 2/6/19 I also told her I would pay for it now how should I pay you with no comment back from her.

Email #1 2/6/19
I have the cylinder back, just have to prep all the original parts I kept together for the motor and get it built. Probably a week? I have people who have paid their invoices and
I build in the order the invoices are paid on special orders, don't know of a more fair way to do it other than that

All that's left to do now is reassembly. I've already disassembled, soaked, acid dipped ground the cylinder to take out what imperfections I could, drove it to the plater, picked it up and paid for the plating and now it's back with him ready to put back together.

This is sad I've never done business with that outfit, but years ago I "had it in mind" from others that they were good people
