Anyone have any pictures of Magnum 500 wheels on a 67-69 notchback barracuda? Still trying to decide on wheels. A green car would be great as that's what mine is, but just like to see how they look on any barracuda.

PM me with phone # can send pics.

IMO, you can’t go wrong with Magnum 500 style wheels. These were a popular look for performance-oriented cars across makes at the time...and for good reason.

The usual caveat being that the tire choice for any 14”-15” wheel is extremely limited.

Not on ebay it's not.

I had magnum wheels on my 67 notch for a little while. After 2 cruise-in events and seeing so dang many of these wheels, I went back to the stock steels and full caps. Using bolt pattern adapters just to have aftermarket wheels that are so common felt foolish. Had to hunt down this pic from years ago. I had forgot about the mud flaps. Those are gone too.

at least 4 different brands of RWL

I get my Cooper Cobra's in 225 or 235 60 14 and 255 60 15 from Discount Tire via ebay.

what are you looking for that not "all season"?

on my '66 cuda, I just went to BBP. Frt disks and 8-1/4 from a '73 Dustpan. I went with painted Mustang 14" x 6" "Magnum" road wheels w/ trim rings. They were pretty cheap. I wish I could have gone with real chrome Magnums, but they were too rich for my blood.
They may be pretty common wheels, but not on a-bodies. I think they look good and are period correct, too.

On my 68 fb Barracuda, I thought they were a lil heavy looking. ( and yes they also are heavy) . I ended up with aluminum wheels, for their light weight. They weigh about half as much per, and I no longer have to slow down for speed-bumps. Wheel choices are real personal, but IMO the sharp and straight lines of the Magnums don't seem to go that well with the curvy lines of our Second gens.

fair enough. I really dislike those SB Cragars, the centers/spokes are too short for me. To me, they have that goofy-looking spacer ring connecting the spokes to the rim. It's like the center/spokes were designed for a 12in rim. But there are a LOT of people who love those things. Just different tastes, I guess.
