Spyed this on CL the other night. Unfortunately the wx is getting worse. We got some snow last night and more....lots more....coming. I have not seen it yet, Guy is going to show it to me Sat 74 Scamp slant, AC, looks like interior is "not bad" Vinyl top is bad, top rusting. He says trunk/ floor is OK

I would buy that for the fuzzy dice alone.....way nicer than the car I started with.
 
Be careful what in under ( or not there) the vinyl roof, BUT YOU know that!!!!! Looks like pretty nice car! Did I work on its wiring!????? ha
I found one of those suckers other day, likely place for my 318 sitting under the tarp! a roller, no doubt was vinyl top car, BUT here in Tx everything is generally at least 10 hr road trip! Ha Just giving the seller time to figure out it is not a $1500 project!
I see all that rain and snow for the left coast every couple days!
 
"I am screwed." We got more snow last night, it's 7AM and I have not been out yet. A quick "swing" of the kitchen storm door says 6-8" about, and more coming. Evidently the alley its "down" gets plowed by the neighbors. I may find myself with the Farmall and snowblower on the trailer out there. Sposed to go see it and MAYBE pick it up Saturday

Looks nice, solid, I hope you get it.
 
Looks like a decent project. The interior fabric doesn’t look stock as there’s normally a vinyl strip/piece in the middle of the rear seat back. Also along the front seat backs along the front edges just before the sides, there should be some vinyl.
 
I've seen velour in 74-76 cars but they're usually Broughams.
 
Any body ever "bed lined" a vinyl top? Thing is my neighbor does a fair amount of this, and could do this. It would not cost much, and later I could change it. Might be a quicker easier way to get it "finished" and protected same time?
