4772576 HEADS built from new castings built by Mopar Performance to replace the 308 head. Never came on a car. Built for Performance, Racing valve job, bronze guides 1.88 Manley Pro flow valves, milled to stock cc's, 10 degree keepers and retainers and NASCAR valve springs.
Never driven on the street and were on my Duster when it set the NHRA National Record and won class at Indy. I used these heads from 2003 thru 2005. Stored ever since.

There was many hours of work done to these heads to obtain there petformance.

Being "Stocker" heads they would not be "ground on" the way most ported heads are.
Maybe they were later tho.

Yes, they both use the same head. With the latest rules the intake ports are a little large. They are very fast heads. I used these on 1972 car.
The 915 heads I have for sale were built for present rules but were not legal on some years for NHRA stock.

The 587 heads I have for sale were built for the present rules. And were legal for more years than the 915s.

What year do you have? It makes a difference on which ones you can use for stock class.
If your not running NHRA stock class you can run most any.

They now measure port volume on teardown. They assigned the wrong port volume to the 587 head. They gave the 587 head the same as most others, but they didn't realize the 587 was produced many years after the others and it was produced as a performance head and was bigger. This made the 587 where it can't be used for stock any more.
The 915 can't be used after 1972.
Many use the 587 for 1973 and newer.
I have 2 sets of completed 587.here and another set at my warehouse near San Antonio. Unfortunately I have one of each set here. I plan to go to San Antonio in the near future. I have many casting o different numbers out there.

Sorry the first set I was talking about was the 576. My phone sent the text before I was ready.

NASCAR valve springs....any specs on the valve springs....like seat pressure....installed height...coil bind...

Left hand bottom corner of your post is the edit button. hit it and then go up and change whatever you want to change. When you're done hit the save changes.

Don't remember valve spring specs. Usually set the springs up at 200 seat and 400 open. Sometime a little more or less.
I run stock lift 462/473 and never come close to coil bind. I built these heads a long time ago. Don't think I ever used the 587 heads but not sure.
