Snapped some pics of this Dart going down the freeway the other day. Looks interesting...

1965 Dodge Dart Factory 4 Speed

How can a ‘65 Dart be numbers matching when Chrysler didn’t stamp partial VIN’s until ‘68? A few potential buyers would believe that nonsense.

Cool project. I don't know that it's $5000 cool though? It does have the rare 270 V8 though. Sounds like someone trying to make a quick flip to me.

thats a perfect candidate for @prorac1
now that Jason is almost done, hes gonna need another project

Prorac1 needs a break after finishing Jason’s car. Lol.

And I need to build a barn. Lol

But yeah, that is a super cool car, but I don’t know about $5000 cool.

check with @pauly on that barn, he had the Amish near Fremont build him a "shed" and he was pretty pleased with it

Thanks. But I don’t know man……Amish quality sound expensive. Lol. I’m more of a Walmart barn kinda guy. Lol

i hear you

i had a buddy build me a lean too for the plow truck
right now its open on all sides and im about $1000.00 in to it (give or take)

ive looked at putting a pole but with a foundation, walls and electricity, that will be in the 50K range easily

Did anybody notice that that Craigslist had another 24 cars for sale? push the button that says more posts by this seller?

What? I've never had the Amish build me anything! I built my own "shed" years ago with my father! I've seen some of the Amish building techniques around here and if you aren't paying attention, they will get you in the end. I'd let them build me a chicken coop, but that's about it!

Yeah. I think we have a flipper here.

Price of admission is to rich for my blood. JMHO.

We have just slightly more than that into Jason’s entire car.

Sorry. Contrary to Barret Jackson. It’s still an a body.

And I for one am glad for that. It’s one of the things that make A bodies great.

The large square tailpipe tells that the car is a "D Dart" an actual badass 273 hot rod.
Nope. D Darts were 1966 only. Just a 65 Dart with a Charger 273. They all had the HP single exhaust with the stainless exhaust tip.

But……with that being said. It is a very nice example of a pretty cool optioned car.

I think $3,500 will end up buying somebody a nice start to a project.

Having done numerous early A bodies if everything is there such as the complete 4 speed set up, body panels are straight, no rust, glass is good and has all its trim then 5kis the upper end of reasonable. No, not a D/Dart being a 65. Not able to read the fender tag but it’s interesting with a 273 4 barrel and a 4 speed, a 270 and not a GT the original owner could of ordered the caras it sits. Wonder if it has an 8.75. In the spring of 65 4 speed cars taken in under warranty with broke 7 1/4s received in their place an 8.75.

With it cleaned up, a 8.75, a hot little 273, he’ll have a nimble little street car. Those 273s with a 4 speed and some gearing were fun to drive.

Sorry brother, I got you and @Michael Harrington mixed up
The shed came from your neck of the woods, that's why I got confused

Yup..Had a 65 with 273 4 speed, 2 4's( ditched those and went with single Holley)Racer Brown Cam.4.88's. Surprised a lot of Super Sport Chevy's easily.

looks like this was originally a gold car with red interior? that is a cool combination! i cant read any of the numbers on CL but i think thats gold on the front fender where they didnt paint under the bright strip?
