You better answer your personal emails if you want me to answer mine. And to all the masses this is probably just yellow rose conceding the race to me.
Wow that was a pretty good prediction back then LOL

Yeah fisherman 67 says his buddy yellow rose is still hanging around and you can see when you look up his Avatar that he was looking at the threads on Saturday morning. It's kind of funny..
the question now remains when will he make his triumphant come back LOL and boy this is going to be a whopping doozy..

We should have driven a wooden stake thru this years ago.........the un dead, that should have stayed dead, returning to life..........will this **** ever end??????????????

Here is the way I see it and I may be wrong I'm far from a racer or engine builder im just a car guy who likes old cars. But to get to 410 you start with a 360. A 340 stock for stock will make more power (depending on the year) I know for a fact a stock 360 is nothing to to write home about because of the big dished pistons and smog heads and less then stellar 2bbl carb and small cam.
Now take that 360 put flattop a 4bbl and a little cam your right with the stock 340. Then adding more cubes by stroking it gives it an advantage. Not to mention a higher rpm limit. So just assuming that everything else is equal ie heads, carb, cam, scr, the stroker has the advantage simply because of cubic inches and a higher rpm. Now throw on a set of dual quads we have our winner. ;) well in theory we will never know cause this thread is two years old and the race has never happened lol. Hint hint Haha

are you kidding me put an end to the greatest bench race that never happened! LOL

You got to read the very first couple post, it explains a little bit.

.
Technically speaking if you take a 360 and put the same compression ratio pistons in it that the 340 has Bolt the 340 heads on the 360 along with the manifold and carburetor and the camshaft and the 360 will whip but on the 340. 20 cubes is 20 cubes.

Now stroke the 360 to 410. You no longer have the balance set up that you had with the earlier 3:40 or 360. You now need more airflow to fill that 410 in.
So you take a 340 that is set up and a 410 that is halfway setup and the 340 is going to win. We already know that a 340 low compression small valve motor runs 1070's in a stocker.

My restriction is always my heads. Their stock. I don't have anything but cheap Summit headers coming out either. But a big shot of condensed air along with an extra shot of fuel could make things happen quickly...

Are they 360 heads?
You should pull them and do a 318wr port special on them he says there is about 4 tenths right there. I know you have done alot of changes to your car recently going from a full race to a street car. What all did you change? Cam and full interior?

I have a thread I think it's called massive reconstruction or something like that detailing everything I've done. I've already put 202 valves in it and how to thread where I was doing my own Home Port job and I even paid the Machine Shop a couple hours to do some more touch up after my amateur attempt. So I may have just about as much as I want to try and get except for a port match or something. For the street this thing is all I can handle anyways I don't need to eke out anyting. If I do anything like mention dual quad nitrous! Woop Woop!!..

Machined shop ported heads with 2.02's installed are far from stock.. Just say'n. Anyways, I'll save myself the foot pain by not kicking this dead horse.... LOL.

I'll leave the cemetery and go where there is life...…. Jababa vs 318hasalreadywon

In jpars defense 202 valve could be considered stock considering some mopar small block heads came with 202 valves.
However I'm not sure about amateur port jobs removing them from the stock head category?
I consider my heads stock they are(will be) (in the process of) cut for positive seals and home ported and gasket matched does that remove them from being called stock?

When you add larger valves, and you have a professional machine shop port your heads, they are in no wise stock... LOL In your case, I say if you port your heads, they are not "stock". You can say the "stock heads have been home ported by me".

Stock is a standard valve job, maybe new guides and new springs. The end.

You might as well say.... I sent my STOCK cam in to get reground for better performance, but I'm still running the stock cam. Ummm, yes, you are, but not anywhere near the stock specs.

Oh my goodness will the fake news ever end!? Every time 318alwasfakenews ever says anything it's always can turn to his Advantage...
What 318alwasfakenews DIDN'T mention was that I said I had spent time on them and I had a machine shop has been 2 hours on both of them. That's just a guy at the Machine Shop supposedly spent two hours touching up what I did divided on both. Not a machine shop CNC Machining them or anything like that. Now when 318alwasfakenews ports his heads he spends 7 each??

LOL... that's all I got for my efforts?????? :D

yes, depending how much porting I plan to do. I can easily spend 14-16 hours on a set of heads doing bowls, intake & exhaust ports.
And when I'm done, I will never tell anyone my heads are "stock", and leave it at that. I'll say "360 heads that I've home ported and cleaned up a bit" :poke:
