Look for the hemi orange dart. Its usually the only A body there. If it's not raining or wet, I'll be there every Saturday night!
Sweet I’ll try to remember lol

There is a HUGE cruise in in Seymour in August, hundreds if not thousands of cars. It’s an anything on wheels type cruise. Pretty much just making laps around the old railroad downtown of Seymour. Usually several old Mopars from the 30s up thru the 70s there. Even a guy with an original restored hemi 68 road runner that cruises. Free and there’s a concert too.

I'd like to make that one! Can't drive my dart though, I've got 3.91s with 245/60-14s and it takes a lot of rpm to run 60+ mph. I know I need taller tires, but the damn thing is too much fun the way it is!

Haha after you’d get there, top speed might be 5 mph. It’s a SLOOOOOOOWWWW CRUISE.

Keep us in the loop about that cruise in. I’m hoping to go to Roadkill nights so hopefully it doesn’t interfere.

Yep. That’s why I pack heavy when I go to Indy. Full combat load for this Army guy
My wife and I were both packing. When I go out of state I bring my HiPoint .45 and she brings her little .25.
Yeah, I know, HiPoint but, if I get a gun confiscated by the police, I'll be damned if I'm losing a Sig. The HiPoint is big, noisy, effective and only $100.
As for the wife's .25, it probably won't kill anyone, but sure will make them reevaluate their life choices.
The cruise in Seymore is something I might be interested in. Hey, it's a event right?
Post it when the time gets closer.

I’ll try to. It’s called Scoop the Loop, Seymour, In . They’ve got a Facebook page I’ll find and link up

That’s funny, I googled Seymour Indiana cruise-in and got two different ones. Are there a bunch of cruise-ins there’s?
Two big ones. The biggest is scoop the loop. Cars and Guitars is in June, it’s decent size too but it’s more of a cruise in with a show versus a cruise like the Scoop the Loop one.

I saw something about Auto Daze gone by.

Scoop the Loop is August 18 from 5-11

I was at the Indy Cylinder Swap Meet on Saturday,, I have attended for probably the past 10 years,, seemed like a well attended event,
lot people there.
I had prearranged to pick up some AMD metal from Stephens Performance, so I had a reason for going.
While there I got a really nice deal on a set of Lingenfelter aluminum bumper brackets and I got to see in person the DMT dashboard laminates
that I plan to use, so for me it was time well spent.

Man, I'm glad somebody got some good out of it!
I did enjoy looking at the parts, I'm just disappointed I couldn't find something as simple as an intake manifold.

You must’ve went early in the day. We got there at 1200 and left by 3, there was few people there.

It really is a shame because my guess is it could be a great event. I however do have two of the MoPar bastard step-children cars though, at least as far as part repops go. Try finding parts for a 72 Demon, I mean actual parts for it, not oh just put 70-71 Dart parts on it. I do want a 71 Demon and one day those pets will be just fine but not for my 72. Taillights lenses aren’t made at all.

The 73 Charger I know own falls into the same boat, very limited repop parts and what the do make they want to recoup all of their costs on single parts.... tail light lenses are $220 a side.

Yeah that’s probably another part of it. I got there about 830. Line to get in went probably 200 yards from the door and was snaked inside.

I scored a few good deals as well

I noticed a lot of the same guys from last year selling the same junk stuff which is fine. It is hard to get waited on at the big vendors. I brought my 6 year old daughter with me this time one guy gave her a free tee shirt which was very cool so I bought one from him. I like it cuz it's all mopar. I bought a new proportion valve, new electronic distributor conversion kit and new Chinese knock off dual scoops with all the hardeware. I think I did good I'll probably go again

Yes, I got there around 10:30 AM, there were a half a dozen folks in front of me at the ticket window. The floor inside was crazey full of people. Next year I will likly just be picking up pre ordered parts again and doing casual shopping - looking so I will get there late and advoid the crowd.

I went Saturday with my brother and a buddy of ours and was sorta disappointed. Traveling from just south of Cleveland this being our 5 year. In the past I've always found some deals. Not this year!! Seemed to go quick, walked the whole thing in 2-3 hours. I made a couple of laps just to make sure I didn't miss anything. I'm sure I'll be there next year
