73 dart with 72 grille

Hello to all, I had a question regarding a 73 dart that I just bought. If I tried could I put a 72 dart grille on the thing? I know I would have to change the hood but what about the fenders and bumper. Just wondering if anyone knew.
 
^ All of the above. Easier to find 73-74 grills than the one year only 72. The point shape of the 73-76 header panel would be a challenge to match to the 72 grill.
 
Pretty much everything from the fenders forward needs to be changed. I did this on my 73.
None of these parts are reproduced. You can use the earlier AMD reproduction fenders if you change the side marker light hole.
 
Do it and take 50 maybe 100 lbs off the front end of that baby!!!
 
I can't find any 70 to 72 dart's for front end sheet metal around here anymore, they used to be so plentiful and now there gone. When scrap metal went up a few years back all the salvage yards crushed them, wish I'd saw the future and saved some stuff, I've been collecting spare front end parts for my demon and travelled several states for parts, it's really hard to find a good hood around here anymore.
 
Ill honestly just learn to love the car its a survivor, all original green paint, /6 225 and Rallye wheels from the factory. The previous owner was telling me that he bought it from an old lady in pennsylvania who had it stored in a garage for YEARS. 40 something thousand miles on the car.

Sounds like a nice car.
 
Sounds like a great ride. If I had one like that I wouldn't change a thing! I don't think a good 73 grille would be that hard to find, or that expensive if your old one is busted. Have you tried posting something in the Parts Wanted section?
