I will be flying in from ca. staying with family. Looking forward to it,first time there.
 
Not this year...but I am planning on the send off party....:steering:
May do the dbacks car show on the 28th.

Not gonna make it this year.
My Dart is finally with a reputable painter and he's progressing really well with it. It's more important to me to save the money from our annual MATS trip to finally finish my Dart.

Whats the best way to get from the strip to the mats? Is there a shuttle? uber?

So you didn't drive to Vegas? If not, then I would suggest Uber but it's a bit of way from Downtown or even the Strip to the Motor Speedway. Not sure what the Uber cost would be.
 
First year missed in 10 years. Have fun, stay cool, take pictures. Drove R/T every year. Fun Field.

I just git back to my hotel from mats there wasn't that many people in the stands and the ones that were there were up top getting out of the 97 degree heat. There seemed to be more racers this year than the last 3 to 5 years. A big thank you to 70aaracuda not sure i spelled that right (already had a couple of beers ) for welcoming me into his pit area nice to meet you and i hope you got the band tightened up and guys do good tomorrow.
 
We had a great time at the MATS again this year. Attendance was down a bit, but still FUN!! :D

Shirley Muldowney was very gracious with autographs...
