Figure I should start a new one for 2019!!!

Me and the wife are still willing to host an after show BBQ if anyone is interested. Or if not a lot of interest in a BBQ, I could work on a nice route for a cruise. Just trying to gauge interest.

Sweet! Putting in my vacation request tonight, I plan in all three days. Still have to tweak the car, but what else is new. Curious how the new venue will be, but should still be a fun time. If not, I'm sure we will improvise.

We will be there all 3 days as well. I've decided to change some of my exhaust so of course I will be working on the car right before the show as usual. I would hate to not be consistent year to year.

I'll be there. In the swap space selling some parts but I'll drop my car off in the show field. I'd be up for a cruise/bbq Saturday night

Talked to a Mopar guy at a show a little over a month ago. He goes every year. He retired from a Dodge dealer here in town. Said a friend of his when to check out the new site in Stillwater. Said it's smaller then Farmington. He wasn't sure about enough parking for all the spectators .

That was my thought also. I could see people parking on the main roads. Not to mention they rerouted the roads last summer, but they only have the first layer of blacktop on them. I hope they do not decide to start that project up until after the show.

Im not sure if people know this or not, but the entrance for participants is off of Stillwater Blvd (Hwy. 5). Not the entrance on 40th.

Thanks for the heads up on that.
Map on the back of this year's flyer does indicate the Show Car Entrance off Stillwater Blvd, but never hurts to add the discussion here as well.

I have been 3 times in the last 6 years and been pretty much rained out each time. I did get at least some quality time looking at cars and the swap meet, but the rain.... I am retired, so I have travel flexibility. On Thursday, I'll look at the weather. I would LOVE to go and not get rained out.

It seems like pretty much a guarantee that we will have rain at some point during that weekend. It's the curse of the show but its still fun

I plan on being there for the first time and getting to meet some of you guys can anyone tell me a good motel to stay in that is close to the park.
Also will be going by myself so anybody living in my neck of the woods needing a ride would enjoy the company.

We will be there for three days. Just checked the current (yes I know how it changes) forecast, little to no chance for rain, high's never above 70 with a slight breeze.
Looking forward to seeing again, or meeting you all. A new location so a new adventure for all of us. This group puts on a nice show, so sure there won't be too many bumps in the road.

Good deal Fred. Someone told me you had other commitments and you couldn’t make it. Maybe I was mis-informed.

So when's the meet and greet? One o'clock?
Usually. Somebody mentioned Keith. He has been active on Facebook posting pictures of their honeymoon trip down Route 66 and back. What a great trip. I am planning on being there barring any medical commitments. Dang, I just have a feeling this summer is going to be all messed up. :BangHead::BangHead: Oh well, better than the alternative! :LOL

Well not gonna give up on a happy summer.

Only a few rainy days away now, I sure hope this weather turns around. Staying at Ramie’s B&B..... Bed and Barbecue
