Anyone have any idea what this contraption is?
It says Bloomfield Industries Chicago #29 on the handle.
My guess is an old oil can crusher of some sort, but i don't even know if it's automotive related.

A neighbor, two houses down, got evicted, and this is one of a few items that i brought home, that the landloard told us to take what you want.

Yeah what he said. Kitty has one real similar. Works good, too.

A french fry cutter!!!!
Holy S#&T.
I NEVER would have thought of that.
Blew my guess, automotive related, out the window, that's for sure.
I'll never use it.
Be a wall hanger, conversation item, in the garage.
Make some fries!

Here's mine. It's a homeowner model and not industrial like the one you have.

When I was young (when dinosaurs roamed) Mc Donald’s use to make their fries with a similar machine. Had a machine that washed and semi peeled fresh taters. Back when they sold real food!

And they fried them in beef tallow. (like beef lard) no wonder why they were so good but so bad for you. Lol

I still love Mc Donalds fries when just made. Go to my local one around 11 am once a month when they are switching to lunch and those babies are fresh.
Tomorrow is my day. Wohooo.
