Picked up this rear end in a package deal for my 73 Duster. I pulled the cover to inspect it. It looks tidy, and by counting the rotation it appears to be a 3.91:1 gear set. Can anyone tell by looking what make of suregrip this might be?

Thanks

That would be a cone type. Work good as long as the cones aren't bottoming out. I would take it apart and inspect it.

I'm guessing your running C clip eliminators? Cause that cross shaft ain't coming out with that thick of a ring gear. Unless someone ground down one side of it.

It is an illusion....the angle of the picture leads you to believe the cross pin is blocked by the ring gear. It is not.
