Well got a few more lines done today, have to wait to do the rear needed to order two fittings. But at least this is done so when my dad and I install the engine this week I'll be good.

Well today my dad and I and my brother and a good friend all got the engine and trans installed in the car, had a issue with the mid plate not clearing so I had to cut some more off the passenger side, and now need to space out to put the flange for the mid plate to weld it to the frame rails on the drivers side. And noticed for better fab of the exhaust will have to move the proportioning valve to the other side(engine side) so I'll get on that next. But at least it's in and now I can wire up the sensors and coil packs.

Got fuel rails back on and plugged in, need to wire coil packs and crank and cam sensors, trying to get ballast resistor to drop the volts from 12 to 6 for the jeep cam position sensor. Also with the 3 electric fans on the radiator hit the water pump pulley. So had to undo that one, but did buy 4 new ones and a little more cfm flow and the center is clear for the pulley, also these are not as tall. Old fans 1100 cfm per new 1500cfm per. Great company here in cali CFR performance. Also got the steering column installed, still have to swap steering wheels and order alot more 6an hose for the trans cooler.

Thanks, should have plenty of room now and clear the water pump pulley. Bummer part is cfr doesnt include the mounting plastic tabs, good thing I had these 3 kits and my brother has another which he will bring over today.
 
Found the ballast resistor I needed, off a ford model b to run 12v to 6v for its stock coil. Already placed the order and on it's way, plus it looks like the stock one lol

So.... how is that going to be wired in? I’m assuming it’s only for the cam sensor? Coils should get full voltage? I looked back through your thread but I didn’t see where you said what EFI system you had. What system are you using?

Yes it's for the 2004 jeep cam position sensor that you can adapter to the mopars. So the power wire I have now will go to this then down to the sensor. The EFI is the megasquirt 3x. Coil yes will get full juice.
 
Well finished the fans up and the harness is all nicely tucked along the bottom and secured. Plenty of room and clearance, can pretty much stick my whole arm in between. Also got to of the three wires soldered and grounded for the cam position sensor, just waiting for the ballast to hook up the power, tomorrow will get in the coil pack wiring. Headers will be here next week, big thanks to @Big_Al for doing them, will post pictures when I get them of his work.

Got the coil packs mostly wired, just have a email out to megasquirt to see if the group of ground wires (theres only 5 ground wires in the bundle) to see if I can use those as the pcm ground that's needed for the coils.

Hopefully, once headers come is even closer. Ordered the 20' 6an hose for the trans cooler lines and an extra 10' of 10an to finished the oil lines. Also ordered the right thickness spacer I'll weld to the frame to close the gap on the drivers side mid plate then weld the tabs onto it and drill the holes and mount the mid plate to the frame. It's always the little stuff lol

You will find that you will need more than 5 sensor grounds by the time you get everything wired. I tied everything together in the engine harness.

Theres other grounds, I was just talking about that bundle. This set up works already mad dart had his engine with this setup running on the dyno. Just trying to figure out how to ground the coil packs back to the pcm and looking over the wires think I found one to tie into off the boost controller.

Finally figured out where to reference ground the coil packs to after talking with Matt at DIYautotune. Will get to that hopefully this weekend. But I'll also be getting ready to move, we are moving to Idaho, help take care of my parents and they are getting up in age, still going strong but need to be closer. But things will continue on the car and hope to be running here soon.

That is an awesome design. The. Wastegate placement angle looks to be the most optimal possible.
 
I would but my wife would kill me, even though she says they are beautiful too
