I have been wanting to get this car together. Finally there is paint going on. My son started painting it. He is coming back to put the clear on after supper. I'll get some pictures after the clear also.

I bought the car it was a 11 sec. race car project that was never finished caged but they started. I took the stroker motor out of it to sell it. This was going to be my new orange Duster, The car was to nice to turn into a race car so I decided to use some of my parts and put the car back to as close as it was originally. The original motor and trans were remove decades ago and are gone. as was the center section. But I have everything to get the car close to what it was originally.
The car is already sold I have several that are throwing offers but it is promiced to "Juggy" that just had his Demon here. His friend wants my Demon also.

This money is all going to help me buy what I need for my Orange Duster.

I am not fixing it but building a light weight street legal race car that will look identical with a 25.5 cage. 2800 lbs.? Rebuilding the same car would be foolish it was way to heavy at 3650 lbs. That is the reason I am selling parts I won't need..

I got the clear on the brown car . The reason I had to repaint the fender wells is they had so many holes drilled in them for Fuel line, coil, ignition box, roll control and Cool can, it was an old school race car wanna be. I am the second owner he was 81 yrs. old . I had to weld them up I couldn't leave it like that.

The interior is still in the car and not a rip. It was auto on the column .

I was going to paint it orange and just make what I had. I found another nicer bare body. So not out of this car it is to nice for me to ruin building a race car. Although brown is not my favorite color its staying the color it was born with. 340 Wedge car with black stripes wing and sport mirrors. I have the original grille but I have to repair it.

Dave I know you'll see this, Help! come down when you get a chance and lets get it on the lift. We'll have to put things back where we moved them from. Foods on me.

Well it's lookin mighty good.

Food?

That met. brown can grow on a person. First time I saw that color, it was on a buds AAR Cuda.
I have a 77 Volare wagon project ( for sale $1000) that color in original paint, I bet will buff out some.
Just different enough color to be really cool!

 Looks really nice! Is that FK5 (Dark burnt orange poly) or the darker brown? Pics are sometimes deceiving on color. Looks good regardless.

Yeah my wife usually feeds those who help in the garage. But Dave usually brings a Pizza over. Then my wife thinks we are cutting down on the food intake because we don't eat as much in the house.

I can't wait for Carlisle. If you see two old guy's on a mobility scooter's at the sausage stand that's us. Last year I had one and coudn't eat it all, Dave had three and finished mine. LMFAO

1971 K6 autumn bronze poly. The picture is what it looks like in person. The door jams shown above are original paint. The clear coat on the engine compartment gives the color depth. This is the first 1971 mopar of many I have owned with this color on it. I found one on the web that looks to be the same color.

That's right don't get between me and my food or you will be pulling back a stump...lol

I got some more done on the car today but I forgot the pictures and the camera in the garage.

Thats right camera.

I still have a flip phone.

I am so old my cell phone doesn't even have buttons it has a dial. My camera is an Instamatic and my pictures have to be scanned in at the neighbors Todd.

I would get on the golf buggy and get the pictures but its out of gas and my wife used what was left in the can for the washing machine.

That does look real nice. Come do mine. lol

You all have to stay away until Dave's Valiant is done . He provides the in between meals and we do not want to interfere with that.

Those snacks are critical too the survival of garage. You would not believe how much help a single Pizza can bring in.
When ever Dave comes with a pie the neighbor knows.

When you need Todd for something you have to talk to his nose. He is one of those guy's that turns the volume off unless its for him. You all know, He is one of the reasons we all get paid at the end of the week after the work is done.

And don't horse trade with Todd either, He'll walk out with a Stallion leaving you looking like a Donkey.

I know a couple of others like that also.
