Only got a 10.70 out of it today. Won the round, but was 95 degrees out.
Need to make a few changes for next week.

Sorry to hear about your buddy, we loose good gearheads all too often!

Believe it or not...all the 2 post companies I talked to told me 4...yes 4...inches of high pressure concrete. I went 6...

They punch all the way through with a drill, and have expanding spider like anchors that grab. If u have it installed...they probably wont want u to do 12. The bolts are like all thread, with the anchors. Not deck lags. I was pretty surprised also!

Johnny's right,
When I bought mine from Greg Smith Equipment they told me 4" and 3000 PSI (mine is rated at 4000 PSI). Me and my buddy Larry installed mine. Make sure you have a good drill bit and when you're drilling the holes blow air down into the holes on one side and have a vacuum on the other side to keep the dust out. I also used and epoxy made for cement as well. The bolts expand as you tighten them and the epoxy was just an added safety measure. It's been in 3 years and no issues.

Finally did the "hard" side with the door. What a bugger!!!

" All with BP engine huh?!?! " parts of it lol

Haven`t seen the wing spread in a long time . Used to have people come up to me and tell me something was wrong w/ my springs . lol
i had an old timer tell me to unclamp the backs, and it did help. I think lifting the wheels on a footbrake, 10 inch tire call isn't too bad !!!

Oh yea! Old Tyme trick right there. Since the rear of the leaf springs only job is to hold up the rear of the car when your at launch, they actually hold back the cars reaction and abilities.

The other half of that trick is to install clamps on the front of the springs to stiffen them up. MP used to sell these clamps. Just a simple set of bolts and bar that are rectangular to cross the spring with holes on the ends to run the bolts through and tighten up.

Mine are clamped on the front. Now I have to address the snubber trying to beat itself through the floor.
