Hi I have a disk brake set up I am putting on my 67 barracuda 73 and up and the calipers hit on the lower control arm where the brake line is on the caliper . do they make a smaller caliper , for that set up for a 67 barracuda

A picture would be really helpful. Some years of the calipers are not compatible, what was the source vehicle? The spindles can be swapped side to side as well to move the calipers from the front to the back, but the bleeders on the calipers have to be on top either way.

After looking at a pic of the calipers on a web site, it sounds like you have them on the wrong side. Bleeder and hose should be on the top.

Which type caliper...Slider or pin?

Had same issue with pin mount calipers.
Swapping side to side does not solve.

Yeah, because some years of the pin calipers have the hose in the wrong spot for A bodies. The pin style calipers will work, but only certain versions of the calipers. @hemi71x would know...

Sounds like your trying to use 73 up, B body calipers, which you have found out don't work, with clearance issues.
70-72 B body, 70-74 E body pin type calipers are what's known to be ok for a swap.
