Well Guys,

The day is finally here where I have enough paperwork done to offer you guys the brand new, roller cam, forged piston, BluePrint 408.

I'm posting here first, as once this goes on the website, and public, there will be a BIG backlog of engines, so I want to reach out to anyone here that would be interested before the wait goes from 45 days to 80 (due to reseller intro orders)

Let me start off by saying this engine is an awesome upgrade from the flat tappet 408.
Minimum HP is 465, Min Torque is 494. Actual output will be this AT MINIMUM.
Thats up 20+ HP from the Flat tappet, as well as upgraded to roller cam, and roller valvetrain.

Base longblock 6399
Dressed with an intake/carb/dist 7299
Turn key with aircleaner, plugs, wires, Water pump, damper, fuel pump 7799
Can do a holley sniper also.

This is one of the test mules. Production turn key version will have black straight plug wires, and a damper.

working on a version with a complete front accessory drive also.

hopefully some of you fellas take this opportunity to jump on the intro train before we get backed up!

Will short blocks be available?

What are the cam specs?
cam specs below. No secrets there....source may change as well as advertised # with rocker ration, but thats what it is.

last i heard shortblocks were a go, but these were my #1 launch for the time being.

@Mopar Tim you're on the cusp of the old one leaving, and the new one coming in, so wanted you to have the data.

I'm trying to get my car done so when I put your engine in I still have a warranty left.
I am getting closer body painted but so much more to do. At this point so far.

I can sneak ya a few extra months of warranty in when you're getting close. Give me a hollar!!!

Hey Johnny will my headers off my 340 with stock heads fit that 408 with aluminum heads.
I should know in a couple of days on getting an engine from you. I'm pretty excited about it and thanks for the extended warranty it will work great for me.
Yes, the port on the exhaust will be the same. I ran magnum and LA heads with the same headers in my car before the "transformation" :p

Looks good.

Great job as usual!
To bad you didn't offer that when i built my engine... would have saved me some cash!

Same as the LA 360 rear. Magnum weight front. We sell a version with the damper on it.

Are the heads cnc`d ? Looks like 500 streetable h.p. would be easily attainable w/ a little more cam , and compression , and still run on pump gas. ???

They are not CNC'd. we may do a higher HP version here with those attributes, or a different head.

should be right around 10:1 like the LA. I'll dig into the cc on the mag heads and see if they are the same as the LA.
63CC on the LA 58CC on the Mag, so it'll be a small bump from the previous version. 10.4 by my math.

And the reason for you getting our business is you care about what you sell.
I don't know anybody on this Forum that thinks any different.
And besides your engines are top notch. Give the guys that build them an atta boy for me.
