Laysons robbed at Carlisle.

That’s awful! Dave has put a lot of time and effort into supplying the Mopar community with tons of parts over the years. Early A body guys can thank him for almost single handedly creating the early A parts that were for years non existent. I know Dave and have always had great dealings with him. Sorry to hear this has happened!

REALLY??? Kind of a slanderous statement made there don't you think?
I certainly would not make that accusation, but there tent is not what I would think would be an 'easy hit'. As I recall it's pretty tight, one way in and out and more than one person working it. It would probably take a couple people and a plan to do this. Plenty of others like myself leave there spots unmanned at least some time. Not that my junk is worth taking. lol

Then again I did hear about another possible theft....
@Mopar Tim - Did the guy next to us ever find out what happened to his sway bar?

While that maybe true, the company has a reputation of taking money and not sending parts.

We here at FABO have Rick thank the Lord who is great at making sure Laysons has what you want before anything else happens.

If it wasn’t for Rick,
I would NEVER BUY FROM LAYSONS!!!!

There used to be thread after thread here on how people were getting screw badly by Laysons.

Perhaps, someone is getting back at them?

If this keeps happenin, watch the amount of vendors at these shows go way down. I don't give a **** what your opinions is of Layson's, stealin is wrong and it's lower than a snake's belly.

8k in parts, hmm.. wow.
What is that, about 4 or 5 items these days?

Sounds as if they grabbed the high end bins like the 75 -100.00 dollar ea. tail light lens that get hot and warp.Jk those are the lesser priced items. :)

Look out for resale online and or some shop popping out restos with all the same parts stolen. Hoepfuly they catch and castrate these pukes who did it.

Why would you leave your tent full of products unmannned from 5:30 pm to 8:30 am when you know the park is full of people? We have a fireworks tent every year and have two man crews there over night to keep away the riff raff.

First I heard of this. But I hardly leave my area at night. Way to many high dollar items for sure. Hope they figure it out.

That really sucks. I buy from laysons. They have some repop stuff that nobody else has like the barracuda fish emblems. Rick is a great guy to work with too.

atleast it wasn't the same guys in masks with guns this time.. :)

Most of the swap meet is left unattended overnight. The gates are closed and security takes over.

Actually gate two is open 24/7 and you can come and go as you want. Security is a couple yahoos driving around in a golf cart. Can see then coming from rows away.
I camped out in my spot for 5 nights.

Sounds like they need to step up overnight security then. The next thing they will do is not allow anyone on the grounds overnight. I know quite a few vendors that have toy haulers and camp overnight right at their vend site.

Don't know if that would work. They don't allow camping in your spots at the NATS and all kinds of theiven has gone on there over the years. Alot of people camp in the spots at Carlise. One of the things that makes it such an awesome show. Man I miss going.
