OH Man that is nice, besides my 70' Dart, a 70 AAR Cuda and a 65' Belvedere are on my list. Love that car.

Jeff

Those are my favorite b bodys. From 63-65 Polaras, furys, and belvideres! That one is sweet!

I love them 65's had 2 of them in the past, hard to find a decent one around here now.

went to a lot of trouble with the vintage parts until he bought those new bread americans . vintage americans would have set it apart from the others . its a beauty and thw next owner would change those rims out for vintage rims . i could be alittle bias'd as well . but i do think there better looking too .

When I was in high school I passed up on a absolutely pristine 64 fury 318 pushbutton auto for 500 bucks because I was a dumbass kid and it was a 4 door! Now I love four doors .lol I'd love to have it now

I didn't pass on this one, but I practically gave it away when my family moved from northern CA.
A running driving 1946 Ford pickup w/flathead V8 and windows starting to turn purple.
I had two of them at the time (a 45 and 46) along with a 58 Ford 390 truck and my parents would only let me keep the 58 because it could reliably help in the move.
I sold that 46 for 500 bucks, and gave the 45 with a blown motor away.
Sold a complete 58 corvette body to my best friend for 10 bucks. (it was all the money he had):D

Every time I see these candy-*** radiator hoses on nice cars like this it makes me say WTF? Like you can't get a stock hose for this? It's a big block in a B-body for cripes sake.

I need to own a early B body before I get so old they take my drivers licence away. I have my eye on a 65 Coronet but a 64 Polara or 330 would be perfect.

Those are beautiful! I have a buddy with a fully restored 66 (I think) coronet it has the 361 everything on that car is as original. It's a beautiful car

I looked for 2 years for one and settled on a clean '68 Dart.
love those early B bodies...good projects are so hard to find now

sold my project 65 Belvedere two door post car a few years ago. bought in the 90's but couldnt get the momentum going again after it had sat for over a decade.
Dont miss it.
Demon is already more fun than I ever thought I'd have with the 65.
Next one is going to be even better.

Wow you a great friend! Lol

Well, let's just say I made 10 bucks on the deal.
A metal scrapper friend of my Dad gave it to me because it was fiberglass and he already scrapped the bumpers, radiator, frame, engine, trans, rear end and aluminum wheels.
It was just the fiberglass and I had planned to put it on running chassis from a basic Chevy.

Oh ok I got you.
I have always hated corvettes and it's nothing to do with the car itself it's the typical people who drive them, pretentious, rich, preppy, better than tho douche bags and it drives me crazy to the point were I absolutely despise corvettes lol if I put that aside some of the older vettes 50s- early 70s are actually pretty attractive cars. 80s are cheap made junk I dont know why anyone who want one the later 90s and early 2000s are pretty good looking too. I had a friend of a friend that had a 85 with a 305 he took me for a ride in it omg that thing was pathetically weak and slow I dont know how it was even listed as a sports car. And the interior was seriously gross the dash the seats the door panels were just cheap and not well designed at all. I have no idea what people see in them. On top of it being ugly and cheap it was so damn slow!!

I hear ya about the newer one, and I never like them either but the new ones are pretty nice.
My ex Father in law was the President of a Corvette club in Fresno CA for years and had a collection from 1953-66, and the 53 was serial number a (bunch of zero's) and a 3 at the end.
I got to get in that one and check it out, but it hadn't run in decades.
Really puffy red leather seats and a white body, and even has the baskets on the headlights still all original everything.
I did however get to drive his blue metalic 66 Stingray bubble top 454-4 speed though.:D
He asked me to do the clutch on it for him and driving it after was part of the deal man.
That Corvette was a blast, and I'd be proud to own that one.
Might make me better than thou though.:D

(kidding there)

You seen that one too? Might make for a nice motorcycle ride up there to see it. I have a pretty good idea where it is. There was a '66 0r '67 Hemi Belvedere in the LA area too.

Shoot from where you are it'd be worth it to go just to drool on it a little.LOL

PS .. I won't turn down an offer to test drive it :steering:Just past the airport in San Luis the traffic is not an issue and the road is fairly straight
