I saw an ad on Facebook for one of these do yall think they would actually work as good as shown? I have a small pressure washer It would be more consistent pressure than my air compressor for sure. For 27 bucks I'm thinking about trying it!

They work and there are many brands of them. But you need to have a pressure washer with at least 3000 psi and over 3 gpm flow for them to work properly. Otherwise, it’s a waste of money and really won’t do much.

Thanks I don't think my pressure washer is that big I think mine is about 1500 psi but I will look

It would be worth the investment of buying a bad *** power washer If it for sure would work as good as the ad says it will.

That would save time, material, and effort in the long run.

Wet media blasting has a long history and works quite well. You just need to have the right equipment.

I bought one of those. Works great on my 3000 PSI washer. I tell you that **** gets everywhere. You will be digging dirt out of your ***. But I blasted a 6x10 trailer I had that had multiple layers of paint. Works great but be ready to paint right away it will flash rust instantly.

I wonder if it would work with a 1500 psi just slower? Or if it wouldn't pic up the media?

It would be perfect for the undercarriage and the outer inner fenders frame rails etc. And the frame on the rusty dodge ram I'm working on.

It won’t pick up enough media or blast with sufficient force unless it moves at least 3 gpm water at 3000 psi. You have to immediately rinse with neutralizing spray afterward to prevent flash rust.

I don't think that one will work. It calls for a 4000 PSI I think. But you can always rent one.
That's a great idea!! I found one on Amazon that uses 1000-2500 psi but it has terrible reviews so I do think I will waste my money on that one! I an gonna do some research and see what the cost of renting one would be. I'm pretty sure my neighbor has one he may let me borrow it.

Did you ever see the ads for "Dustless Blasting". Maybe just call them and let them do it? But, yeah, if you have a good place to do it and don't mind getting dirty, it would be cool to have a machine like that! (BTW, if you are worried about flash-rusting, Dustless sells a rust inhibitor).

That might be the answer. When I blasted my trailer using one of these, I was really happy with the results. But as the sun drys the steel it almost immediately there was flash rust on it.

The epoxy primer I'm using says specially not to use any rust inhibitors
