Not a Mopar event per se, but a few show up among the 30-40 thousand cars.
Me for example.

The wife and I took a drive down Woodward last night about 7:30, it was nice and cool out and the cars were excellent. There were people lined up and down Woodward taking pictures and enjoying the sites. Most of the parking lots were full of cars and people, just an all around good night for a cruise. I will be there on Friday night at a restaurant called the triple nickel, but Saturday I will be home way to much traffic for me. Last year it took me an hour and a half just to go five miles, then another hour and a half to get back home not to mention a tank of gas. Saturday is a day I just kick back and watch the dream cruise on TV, no lines to get to the bathroom and the beer is ICE COLD and plentiful!!! For those of you who brave the Saturday cruise enjoy it, it really is something to see and enjoy.

Just a couple of more days & I'll be ready. :)

I was out at the Donut Cutter last night. Originally the Donut Cutter gathering was started as a hang out for the Moparts.com crowd. I think we (the Twisted Axle Car Club) outnumbered the Moparts guys. It was loaded with tons of awesome cars!

I took over 200 pictures in that lot alone. Here are a few:

BTDT.
Problem is too many tourists in their Honda Odysseys clogging up the flow. (Ignoring the signs) I wish they would find a way to limit access to cruisers.
But I'll be there early Saturday morning and go a few miles up and back. Then park the car by noon and just walk and watch.

I spent about four and a half hours yesterday at fifteen mile and Woodward on the second floor of the Triple Nickel bar and grill over looking all the cars, and I want to tell you it was great. The one thing I was looking forward to was seeing were some other first generation Barracuda's, not a one. I saw one 67 Barracuda but there were a lot of 1970 and up Barracuda's and Challenger's. I think the biggest crowd of cars were the Hellcat's followed by the Corvette's from the 1950's to the newer 2019's. This is the first time I have ever been south of sixteen mile road (Big Beaver) during the week of the Dream Cruise and even on a Friday it was crazy. My neighbor was doing a Dream Cruise party for some of his clients and invited me along, VIP pass (WOW) that's a first also but I will not go anywhere near Woodward today I will just watch a little bit on the TV and then punish my self by watching a LIONS pre-season game, shoot me now.
