1973 Disc Brake conversion / SBP / 14" narrow steel wheels

-
Just put BBJ UCAs on it, M body spindles, and brakes and go big bolt pattern. More rim choices larger 1/2" lug studs. The 73 up A body 10.8" rotor PN is also used on FMJ body cars and goes all the way up to 1989. Ditto for wheel bearings. Dust seals, tin dust shields, brake pads and hardware kits. Parts are cheaper and more plentiful.

Maybe not. I converted both cars to BBP. Did it for simplicity over the 4 pot KH setup, parts availability, and availability of many more different styles of wheels. Plus I did it inexpensively with boneyard parts and mix n match w big diameter cordoba rotors and big bore cordoba calipers

I believe you can get 14x5.5 rims in a steelie BBP.

Ok the 2 spindles you saw in my pics were for 10" drum on the left and 9" drum on the right which one looks like yours?
Actually top one is 9" bottom one is 10" I just went back and looked at pic

If your 73 has 10" front drums, it also has BBJ UCAs. If your going to convert to the 4 piston KH setup you will need the SBJ UCAs.

I have a full set I removed from my 71 dart, small bolt pattern, rotors, spind, les upper and lower control arms, 4 piston calipers. I am in Dallas Texas so shipping may be an issue. PM me if you like

Non swaybar tabbed LCAs are all the same all the way to 76. Only difference is swaybar tabbed arms. 67-72, and 73-76

I must have missed that. I do know I got a nice clean set of BBJ UCAs off a 74 valiant w 10" drums. Was a junkyard score at $50

These are drilled for 4 or 4-1/2 inch BC on the same rotors and hubs, but requires an inner wheel diameter of 12.92 inches. It would allow for upgrading wheels in the future, if need be. I don't have my spare wheel handy to measure at the moment but this may be your best option, as it uses the factory six cylinder spindles.
