My Barracuda has late model rally wheels but I have seen photos of members cars with body color wheels and caps. The top photo is of my barracuda as it is now. The bottom photo is what it will look like if I change it. (I bought the Valiant caps from RPMgoo yesterday) Shout out to DDaddy for the graphic help!

I spent a fortune setting the current wheel configuration up. All 15" LBP none of which is native to the car. Next week I will receive my hubcaps, now I just need four usable 15" LBP steelies and tires for them:) I do have enough paint left from my painting of the vehicle to paint four more wheels:) I think this will get added to the winter project list for my numerous planned improvements. I'll keep the rally's so I can change back and forth.

15x7 M body Chrysler fifth ave steelies fit perfectly, will clear Cordoba 11.8" big brakes, and have a 4.5" bolt circle drilled for 1/2" studs. Dirt cheap at the boneyard. These dog dish caps you have coming fit those steelies. I can get em at my boneyard all day long at $13 each.

Dude, thanks for the heads up. I was wondering how to get the right wheels the first time, thanks.

always keep the other wheels around. you'll want to make the car look different after running from the cops

Heres one I snapped a 67 cover on. They have a deeper dish than the first pic shows. Pic is decieving. 85-89 fifth Avenue, diplomat, and fury have these. Earlier diplomats, furys and fifth Ave used 15x6 rims. Take your tape measure and also a calibrated eyeball. The back spacing on the 15x6 and 15x7 is the same on the back side making the rim a deeper dish on the outside by an inch. Easy to see if you put 2 of em next to one another. Second pic is 15x7 on my kids car to clear the doba brakes to make it a roller. Gonna powder coat his gloss black, use chrome lug nuts.

Another tech tip to keep the same diameterish spare. Look for a 2002 Lincoln town car and grab the donut spare. It's a 25" diameter tire, BBP on an aluminum wheel, and only 4.5" wide so it sits flat in the trunk well. They are easy to lift and move around with that aluminum rim. I have 2 of em. Got em from a Dallas area boneyard for $10 each, and they were never used. Brand new tread. Gonna get em remounted, have the rims powdercoated black and remounted.

You shoulda made a poll for this lol.
Yeah I tried to figure it out but I knew I was going to change it to the steelies. Haven't heard any votes for the rally's. I just needed to know what steel wheels to look for that will fit the caps I bought. Now I have to see how much issue it is going to be having Valiant caps on a Barracuda:)

Plain 69 Plymouth caps for 69, or what about the bottle caps like I had in pic. Those are more correct for 67-68

Yeah, I'm waiting to see the caps I bought, They looked really good in the photos but I may have to strip off the center color and do something else. Maybe Princess Valiant could use a set:)

That is what I'd do, keep the rally's, they look sportier so you can change them when you want.. New tires too? Curious which size tires you have? Great look car!
