A room is not the issue! Someone else in it is!

Can you scavenge some parts off the old ones for the collar seal and handle????
Nope. The newer of the two I put in several years ago. Probably made of pure Chineseum. Total junk. The one I wanted to rebuild was probably original to the house 40 years ago. Built like all faucets were then. Solid, and everything replacable. I'm sure at that time you could get any part of it at most hardware stores. The old one has a solid brass inner shaft. Have not removed the outer housing from wall, but guessing it is cast brass. Newer one used a thin tube inside and out - both corroded and just twisted apart. They had 2 at Homely Depo. Both better than the junk one, but one I got is a little closer to the old one from what I can see.

That would be sooooo cool.

When I have bon fires, I always use to much gas for that WAWHOOOOOSH adrenaline rush. At least I thought it was a rush but I need to up the ante like that pic

a true fire builder doesn't need any gas to start a fire....

You have to learn to stack the paper, cardboard/kindling, and progressively go larger diameter wood and logs to get it going....

Is there any system for the Chrysler part numbers ? I mean, is it possible to see where a part belong, or what car it is made for, something like the Ford part number system ?

Bill

No, when you pull a new part number, you see the guy/gal in that group and they assign the next available number to the ones that you need...

Building fires is an art....

I like to restart them the next morning without trying to use any paper/cardboard and start with thin sticks and gradually going to larger diameter sticks/branches until it lights again from the embers...

Like pretending that I'm stuck on an island and trying to conserve my matches because I only have one pack and I don't know how long I will be stranded and need to save matches for future fires....

For an outside fire I do kindling etc in center/underneath and build the larger stuff around and over, or teepee style. For woodstove I have found the topdown burn works better. Takes a little longer to get going, but much less smoke while starting. Also less likely to choke itself out if big stuff doesn't catch cause sometimes the smalls burn out too quick. That is especially good with the catalist element, cause it takes a lot of heat to fire it off initially, and all the initial smoke is going before it starts. Of course I still light it with a MAPP gas torch. LOL

Any one near Janesville, Wisconsin? There is a nors exhaust there and he will not ship it.

I met a member there many years ago... Can't remember his screen name...

Its about 2 hours from me....

Janesville is about a half hour north of Belvidere...

Paper? Only at home. ;) In the field, whatever is available - small twigs or split some kindling and tinder out.
If no matches, then a little char-cloth and dry tow to get the kindling going.
Not that difficult at all - with a little prep. :)
