I know the hot wire thing is popular but why not the FAST system? My car will have to be tuned as it will be a twin turboed 5.7 on 15psi... Just curious.....

For a set up like yours, I would even go a little farther. Like the Holley Dominator system. LOTS of tunability. No personal experience, but looking at the product and seeing bulds that run it, would probably be my choice. Would like to hear others experience.

I agree with above. Holley would be my choice. I ran FAST 1st on my engine, had problems with boxes going bad. Switched to Holley and did great. My experience thou could just be bad luck. But I am very happy with my Holley set up.

I have just ran FAST on my race cars in the ast and was looking at what was available. I will take a look at the Holley setup...

I am hoping Holley comes out with a terminator X like they have for the LS engines and they just released a ford version. I called them about that and they told me that my best bet as of today was the HP or dominator. He didn’t rule out a terminator X development for the hemi. His direct quote was as of yet we do not have the terminator X for the hemi!

i have an hp holley setup. wishing id have jumped into a dominator ecu instead. will upgrade to one soon enough for more i/o.
twin turbo 6.4+

My son has the Megasquirt gold box. no history on it yet but waiting on him to start playing with it.

I’m sure it’s been asked, yes I searched!
Do I need the computer flashed to a manual when using 727-904?
Is this something HP tuners can do?

I believe that's where the 05 2500 manual trans computer comes into play.

I have a 04 harness, computer, pedal. I’m almost done with the harness mods. I will continue to look. Seems like the average price to flash is 350-475.

The G3 Hemi doesn't use smart coils and require specific drivers to make them work. I'm sure the delay from Holley developing the Terminator X for the G3 is specifically due to the controller not having the components inside to control the coils. You could probably use it if you used a smart coil, however, I doubt it has 16 outputs for spark....

Look at EFI Source for their "Gold Box" It's basically a Megasquirt but they have a drop on harness and a start up tune already programmed into it. It must also have the coil drivers built into it. Some other options are going to DIY Autotune and using the MS3X, or the MS3 Pro (Amp EFI), controllers. They all use Tuner Studio as the tuning platform. The only problem with these on a G3 is you will need to mount the coil drivers externally. This probably isn't a big deal in most situations, just more wires to deal with.
I don't have any experience with Holley systems, but I bet any of their systems will require external coil drivers for the G3 hemi.

While I don't have a G3 in my car, I do have MS3X on a 408 with a completely custom EFI setup. It's a slight learning curve, but once you understand what's going on, it's pretty easy.

I was leaning towards the goldbox, and still may. I already have an LS tb and there adapter which they require. Only downfall is cost and having to fab up a bracket to run the trans pressure valve.

They already make a driver setup for the dominator. From what I'm told the terminator x ecu has the same harness plugs as the dominator.

There you go. I figured they would have something. If it wasn't for the damn dual plug configuration, you could run LS coils and wouldn't need these extra components. Typical Mopar, can't do anything cheap...
