Dumbass Tail Light Question

-
I will leave the driver's side one out this time, as I need another housing. This one has a couple of the studs broken off and tried as I might, they will NOT come out. So I need s fairly decent one. It will need a little pitting to match the passenger's side. lol Anybody got anything?

Still not sure, you may have them backwards yet. Here is a picture of 3, the 2 on the left they say are Left Hand, Drivers Side. Then the one on the right is being sold as a Right Hand Passenger side, but they are all for the same side of the car.

The guy selling the Right Hand one does not know what he is selling. Lol . .

All of these are on ebay.

@RustyRatRod you are going to have to double check things so you get the right part.

I would think @66340SEDAN Could get you all dialed in on these.

You would think that the wider side of the Red Lens should be facing out away from the car (and not to the trunk side) to have the bigger tail light surface area noticeable to traffic.

Well, they SLAP won't fit opposite of what they were on. PERIOD. Also, the even number was on the passenger's side and odd was on the left, just like Bruce said, so I think they might have been right. I'll have to get the drill and file out to make them fit swapped and that just ain't happenin. LOL

There you go, you got a better idea what the deal is now anyhow. The Ball is in your court, Good Luck with the project.

Turn right signal on, if right lights up it's right. Right???
Cmon I wasnt the only one thinking that lol

I was trying really hard not to say that.:D
But if you are a smart *** all the time people don't like it.

Yeah, I get that feeling too, but i cant fight it lol

Not tail light related .
But u think that was dumbass , listen to what I did .
After stacking old barn tin on a trailer that I put in the back yard, and locking everything up, I put two sets of keys for diff. stuff in my right hand pocket , I never carry keys in my right hand pocket . The levis were old leftovers from my plumbing days , too small , faded out , patched etc. , I decided to throw them away , I figured out where I left the keys about an hour after the trash man drove away the next day . I then ruined my bolt cutters trying to remove two of the master locks , they wouldn't cut .
I had made extension handles for the cutters and they fell over and "scratched the barracuda !". Luckily its a marred place and will compound out w/ a figure rub.
After messing w/ that all afternoon , I just set down and had a cold one , f--- it !

Maybe the quarter panels are on the wrong sides. Try switching them around. That will keep you busy for a while. Lol

On my 64 Valiant 2 door sedan, how do I tell which side tail light is which? I'm not sure they are on the correct sides and I think they are different somehow. Thank you drive through.
if you can see thw part number on it then look at the last digits. Odd numbers = left side Even numbers = right side. (or at least my tail lights, Vent window stop cushions and rear bumper rubber cushions are numbered that way

don't know if you can see the numbers but they are odd =left and even = right

Thanks yall. For the laughs especially. 'Corddin to the part numbers, they are on the correct sides.

wish I saw this earlier, I would have said roll with them as is, ie. your correct. They don't look like they would even fit other way around on the bottom. 65's are pretty close too, you have to look at bottom corners as they are slightly uneven, low side outboard on the arch.
