Just the Ford stuff.

A question for the brain trust.
Is a fully restored 67 GTX 426 Hemi really worth 115K??
A buddy is looking at one.
I like the style, but a 440 can be had for half that.
Do Hemi's command that kind of price??

Holy crap just got a case of WIX 51515 oil filters of of RA for 1.66 each!

1964 PLYMOUTH BARRACUDA 3.7L 225cid L6 Oil Filter | RockAuto
Be interesting to see if you get older ones or new ones.
All the older ones are made in US. New ones vary.

Great Buy !
Good brand of filters too.
That number looks farmiliar, for Small Block and Big Block Mopars too ???
Yes.
I was using them but the K&N with the hex 'nut' on the top are just that much easier to remove - especially with the headers.

Hey any of you guys have any fords? Have a ton of ford nos holley ignition stuff I got with some other stuff. Basically want it gone.

Got a pickled 2.3 Ford out of a Pinto (electronic). Got any 2.3 Ford Points Distributors ?? Just Curious . .

What did you spray on here?

I use John Deere Medium Gloss Black with the 5 Star Hardener, thinned only 5% with the John Deere Paint Thinner (reducer) too keep it thick but still sprays and bushes on good too. Self Priming, great for equipment and trailer frames too.

Use this product for all of my undercoating work, need to use the 5 star hardener with it though so that it sets up good. Cost Effective

Here is my buddy's 2008 Toyota that had a brand new frame put under it from the Toyota Frame Recall. Crazy, frame totally rusted out and they had to put a brand new one on it at Toyota's expence.

We painted frame and complete under body to seal it up good so it does not rust out. Used the same John Deere Medium Gloss Black.

Like the sheen of that paint, looks factory when done.

Off for brekkie, then grab trailer and go get kid/stuff. last decent day, from here on weather is taking a downturn.

So I'm on the internet looking for some dodge sweptline 318 poly motor mounts. Have not found much but I don't think it should be that hard because these trucks of these same body style had polys before 67.

I am really liking the idea of the poly in the truck.

It's a 2 barrel engine but I am keeping exactly what is on it. No money spent on items it doesn't have.
Even a 2 barrel poly is probably a power upgrade over a slant six.

For the truck, it might be an advantage putting more weight on the front end for snow plowing and pushing cars.
Well, here is what happened. According to the media. The power company shut down high voltage lines but not those with the highest voltage. The reason is that the lines with highest voltage has more clearance to trees, so they are rated for higher wind speeds and therefor with the weather forecast we got they did not have to shut them off. They are also feeding a wider area so they for that reason also wanted them on.

Then, at 9:20 pm the night the fire started, it was northern winds, and the fire started north of us, so it would be pushed down here. Anyway, at that time the power company got an indication, the media did not say how, but I assume it was an indication on their instruments at the power plant that said something was wrong in a high voltage power mast of those who were still on. And this was not caused by the wind or trees or branches, but some kind of mechanical fault. They don't know if this caused a spark or not. But, 6 minutes later, at 9:26 a fire close by was reported, and the rest is history.

A bit later in the evening the wind changed to ENE, East North East, and blowing towards the coast. So, it was favorable for us here in Santa Rosa, but not for the little town Geyserville. Therefor we did not have any smoke or any problems, the smoke was blown towards the pacific ocean, and was laying like a wall in north.

This morning it was still fine, but when my wife drove to work, and she looked towards the sun and east, the sun was totally red. She knew what that meant, and 3 hours later we were surrounded by the smoke. It is a bit better again now in the evening.

The fire crews has not had much headway today, so it has been able to grow to 24,000 acres, from 21,900 in the morning. Tomorrow it is supposed to be very high winds again, and on Sunday up to a record of 80 mph in the gusts.
The wind direction when the wind will reach it's strongest would be NNE, North North East. Which is a bad direction for us.

Bill
stay safe

I better get my butt in gear and get some of Steve's coffee going! Good stuff I have just tried the Antigua so far. Nice!
