Stop in for a cup of coffee

-
Only problem is I will be out of the good stuff by then. And the coffee man is on a raft in the Gulf somewhere. Lol
My wife is at home and can ship coffee if needed.
Pretty big selections of coffee here. I'm not a consieur. I've been mostly buying a couple lighter roasts, I think both from Columbia.

I can do a light roast as well. The lighter roasts are like wine tastings in that its about the bean quality more than the roast, also more attention needed. The darker the roast the more its about the roast and less the bean quality.

Dang, I was invited to a Halloween party tonight but I have like zero motivation to get ready and go.

I would have to do hair and make up from the beginning and by the time I would get done it would 10 or 1030...... it's almost 730 now.

Jamming songs and surfing fabo is a party.

I can't decide which one of you is the scariest..... maybe it's me

If it takes you 3 hours to do your make-up, you may be scary without it.... :poke:

(that's for your comment on my using the same joke over and over....)

Then I don't want to be out too late because i want to get up early and work on my 318 and maybe work on a truck here with a miss.

I have had three people try to talk me into going "come on let's go" " it will be fun"

But I don't want to get ready, I just want to be lazy and surf fabo till I fall asleep.

I'm lazy
3 hours to get ready for a party?!?!?

You are waaaay to self conscious for someone who just wants to have fun.

Go as you are and forget the rest...it’s not Like you are trying to hook a boyfriend or anything. :poke:

Yeah same here, neighbor 1 mile down the road having a big halloween party. people all dressed up in strange clothing.
Sometimes it's just nice to stay home in the comfort of your own home, be lazy, check out the internet and have some ice cream.

Works for me . . .

What is this like the hundred thousandth time you posted this?

Might be time for new jokes there, rodney dangerfield :poke:

Make it the hundred thousandth and one time.... :D

Yea, that would be some luck. Boyfriends are like parking spaces. The good ones are taken and only ones left are handicap or the ones way out there in left field.

You never know, you may meet one that has same interests as you and who spends too much time messing with cars. Me personally I'd stay home too and mess with cars, watch tv with the wife and check out fabo at the same time.

this is such an awesome post ...thanks.

I like people who don't offended and butt hurt over a little jab here and there. At my office I work around people who cant even take a joke and it really makes life hard to deal with a bunch of weenies.

Fabo people rock, I try to blend in and I don't get offended very easy. I pretty much only get pissed if anyone says things about my adoptive parents because I love them more than my own life, but other than that, I have skin of steel

Got my 'whole bean' samples the other day. Doing some pre-brew coffee testing tonight. Does anyone else enjoy eating perfectly roasted coffee beans? I'm sure many have had the chocolate covered ones. (Which I do enjoy) But you can't really taste the full flavor that way. Anyway, got some ground up to brew in the morning. Munched on a few of the beauties while I was at it. Both are great flavor, haven't decided which I like better.

Had the Huehue this morning, smooth with nice flavor. Going to try the Antigua in the morning.

That has me asking 2 questions. How loud was the music? And how did he let you know it was a problem?

He just knocked on the window and smiled and asked if everything is ok. Said he just happened to hear the party and laughed. He is subtle.

I think I has the bass too high because the windows and duct work were rattling

So you've got old men coming to your windows and your OK with that? :wtf:

Interesting. I'll send you a note in the morning.
The one coffee is called Bird of Paradise, the other might be Solstice. The strength of the flavor seems a little touchy. Better when I was using fine ground and Melita filters.
Maybe tommorrow I'll make two cups (uh mugs, which is really more like 4 cups) using the stove top drip and see how it comes out.

Watching Wyatt Earp on TV...
"How do you want to handle this Wyatt."
"I'm gonna have some coffee"

That video makes me wonder how available old cars are in a huge city setting.

I usually find mine in fields
Lots. And 15 years ago there were lots and lots.
There's stuff out on the street, stuff in lots, stuff in run down garages, nice garages and even parking garages.
When I first moved here, I rented a spot in one of those. Another guy in same garage had a beatle with rotary engine in it.
There's VW air cooled wagon in the neighborhood, a Citroen a few blocks further out, and so forth. They guy I bought the VAT40 from is just about 5 blocks from my 'good' garage - he has a Challenger in there - never knew he was there til hoppy spotted the ad. Lots of people and lots of older tucked away as well as out in the open.

My daughters friends are stuffed with Pizza and apple cake with ice cream, and are beginning to crash. They are all trying to stay awake until the party close in another half an hour.

Funny that, the younger they are the harder they fall. Oh, to be a teenager again...feeling invincible.

Holy hell! Just got a message from the sandy oil fields on the other side of the globe, waiting for confirmation but we may have just landed a HUGE fish in the war on terror!
