Stop in for a cup of coffee

A friend of mine in the Philly area just texted me that a good friend if his just passed away with a collection of 30+ vintage cars from the 50s to the early 80s looking for a broker to help the widow sell them.

Hmmm...I think I need to check this collection out before making any recommendation.

She thinks it’s worth around $300k. Might be a lot more depending on what he had.

I really really hope we got this sob. For those that don’t know, he is/was the leader of ISIS/ISIL and before that, AQI. He and his followers were the ones responsible for some 90 percent of all US casualties in Iraq.

I don't take a lot of photos..these were in a not so good neighborhood ..2011

Good Scoup:

Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the leader of the Islamic State militant group (ISIS). A U.S. Army official briefed on the results of the operation told Newsweek that Baghdadi was killed in the raid.
Defense Department told the White House they have "high confidence" that the high-value target killed was Baghdadi, but further verification is pending.
My guess is waiting on DNA. We thought we had killed him back in 2009, but it wasn’t him. The funny/sad part is we did eventually capture him but he was released before anyone realized who he was.

I would love to find a charger in that body style that is available. Especially a 72.

They are so sleek
If you’re serious, there’s a yard near me with TONS of the 71-74 chargers. Some even still complete with 400s. No 440 ones, no 4 speeds that I recall. Guy will sell them, 1,000-2500 each.

Guess I should have posted on FABO back in 2011. LOL

This is the Challenger the guy who had the VAT40 is selling. A driver. Would drive a perfectionist crazy.

I should have taken a pic of the trunk lid. It has a raised center line like it was made from a hood lid - prob was! And IIRC a 'New Yorker' emblem to confuse the uninformed. Pretty hilarious.

He just knocked on the window and smiled and asked if everything is ok. Said he just happened to hear the party and laughed. He is subtle.

I think I has the bass too high because the windows and duct work were rattling

my active pickup 5 string bass would rattle everything in sight through that rig.

A friend just traded for one that matched his old one. The new one is a 440 4 speed Dana car. 71 Charger of course.
