When my wife and I retired a few years ago, we decided that should we ever come across the car we special ordered from the factory in 1969, our first ever new car, that we should buy it. Just over a year ago, while killing time, and not really expecting to find anything, I was on the MoreMuscleCars.com website, and a walk-around video of this car came up.

I reached over and tapped my wife, saying, "Look at this."
The first words out of her mouth were, "That's our car!"
It isn't "that car" but is identical in all respects except that the one we ordered back in '69 ad the 383, and this is a 340. Everything else is the same.

So we made some phone calls and went to look at it, all of the way up in Macomb, MI. We found no major problems, and so, it is now in our garage. We have been showing it, more or less at local shows, and winning some trophies, but knowing there were some little items we needed to clean up, or replace.

We got a better feel for what those items were at the all MOPAR show in Lebanon, TN a couple of weeks ago. Still, we did come third in the 1960-69 A-body Original classification. This photo is from that show in Lebanon.

Welcome to FABO!!!

It's got to be a cool feeling seeing a car nearly identical to the one you bought new just waiting for a buyer.

Great looking car, congrats!!

Thanks, and yes - especially since it seems that the majority of the A-bodies were tubbed out for race only cars.

Welcome nice ride for sure and what's even better is the wife has the same interest.

Sweet ride.. not a big fan of the car show add-ons...
I'd love to see some more pictures of the car inside and out as well...

I have a couple of videos sent to me by email, but can't figure out how to get them into a post here. I have tried several methods, but . . .

The only way I've been able to post videos and remember I use my phone for all of this stuff is to download it onto YouTube and then I can copy and paste that to hear and it works well...

I was simply trying to put them on my desktop. I have them saved on my phone, and can watch them from the email too, but can't find them in my downloads, photos or anywhere else. I have them on facebook too, but can't get to them in a way I can repost from there either. My wife is better at that stuff than I, and she said she would look at it "sometime" . . .

Yep like JPar said, videos have to go through You tube then you just post the link. Photos from your computer should be in your photo file. My phone takes the pictures so I usually post them from there. I usually save them from here to my photo file on my laptop.

Beautiful! Is there heater issues? Sorry not nitpicking. Ask away if need be, lots of knowledgable members here.
Smart move with fire extinguisher!
As I said beautiful.

I don't know if there are heater issues, just that the water lines are not there. Fan works, but I suspect the core may have a leak and that is why no hoses. That said, here in N Alabama, a heater is not needed since I don't drive it much between now and March.
