I used to run colored lights in my 64 Belvedere that I bought at a fleet supply store in my area. Yes, the blue and red colors are illegal to even have installed in most states, but the yellow ones are OK to run. The store is A&L Fleet Supply in Ann Arbor, Mi. They also have a store in Howell, Mi. As I recall there were no plug in terminals on the back and I had to make pigtails with spade terminals that slipped into my existing light socket!! Give A&L or a fleet supply store in your area a call, they may be able to help you out!! Geof

You will get a ticket in Calif for having blu

Been running Blue ones on my car but it looks like it is the glass tented but they look very lear up close and shine White at night.
No idea where they came from. They are sealded beams not housings or blue bulbs.

Replacementlightbulbs.com has about any kind of bulb you might need. Towards the top click on -sealed beams- and just look down the list. They have what you want.

The part number you want is 4416B, GE. It doesn't have the diameter on that one-You will have to get ahold of them.

Sharp car, miss my 70 Dart Swinger 340. I want the front crossmember and front suspension you have. I was talking to Ray Barton the other day and he choked when I talked about getting rid of torsion bars and doing coil overs.:elmer:
I wanted to go to sheetmetal intake with 2 4500 dominators but he said he had some tricke fo my 770's so sent them in. I am looking still in case I find.

thanks dart505.thats a aje frontend, which no one like but worked for me,i had a low deck tunnel ram in that car, then put a dual plug 426 hemi tunnel ram in it for nostalgia pro stock, but was turned down by those guys because it would run 7.90s,so i sold the car ,which i shouldnt, have a 76 volare im putting a dual plug tunnel ram 426 hemi in as a tribute car

You cannot have any red nor blue lights showing from the front of the car on a licensed vehicle

There are so many modern cars running light blue, pink, purple....you name it out here in So. Cal. I know its illegal but you'd think these guys would have been ticketed by now. The blue I speak of is the blue R3 bulb headlights, not sealed beam. Buddies dad had a 66 Comet Cyclone 390 with blue dots on the back, finally got a ticket for them......

I realize headlight and top lights are two different scenarios. But I've driven my 71 Polara patrol car 10,000 miles in the last 5 years and have never been stopped. I've talked to a couple patrolman, they said as long as they are not turned on out on a public road your OK. one retired officer told me if I turned them on, on a public road I would go to jail!
