I need another hood for my '67 Barracuda. What other years are the same?

Thanks in advance,

Rich

68 b'cuda hood is the same except for the hood mounted turn indicators or at minimum the holes for them. 69 and later are peaked in the center so don't match the flat 67/8 header panel. Some bolt up at hinges differently also.

Due to the "red x", I'll explain.
67 and 68 hoods are "flat" in the center, whereas 69 has the "ridge/bump" that matches with some 73-76 hoods like OldKimmer mentioned.
If you swap to a 67 or 8 hood, the front nosepiece should be swapped as well for cosmetic purposes. Also hood releases are different throughout these years so these will affect your changes.

***edit, the red x is right beside the green check mark, Joey should put them at opposite ends due to fat fingers***

Thank you. I am looking for a hood to cut a hole in, so flat is preferred. Flat like, without the bumps for the hood inserts. Do need it to match the nose though. Hinges and latches are less important, will likely make it lift-off.

There's not a flat hood with no bumps for a 67 or 68 Barracuda, your best bet would be to buy a fiberglass lift off hood, you can get them flat with no bumps.

yes, 74 sport hood use requires the Sport hinges to work best without modifying, but still wont look right on a 67/68

Unless, of course, you put on a 69 nose so the hump in the hood will have a nose piece hump to match up to.
LOL

That would include the grill work and a means to open the hood as well. The latch trip lever will be different from the 7 & 8. Bumper and valance is same. Plate holder should work too.
Old pictures of my '69 wearing a '67 nose and hood from way back...…….

I’m in a similar situation, I don’t want to cut my hood for the tunnel ram. I’m guessing I’ll just remove the hood and hinges temporarily.

Removing the hinges requires removing the fenders.
I just tied mine down.
