Hey guys:

As the title states, I am curious what the original sail panel board material was. Mine are in poor condition from age and water intrusion around the rear window gasket. These are for a '68 Plymouth and I don't think they repop them. I can make them but need to find a close approximation of the material. Thank you.

Classic ind. has some plain uncovered panels(for dart I believe). I would like to know what they are made out of also.

I just installed some in my 67 cuda. Like $20 from classic. Made of 1/8" hard board.

Yep. just like the stuff they put on the back of cheap furniture.:D
I made the rear deck cover of the same stuff, then covered it with 1/4 foam and black speaker face material.
6x9 speakers still mount in the openings from the bottom side and you can't even tell they are there.

Thank you. I think Home Depot carries this material, or a close approximation thereof.
