I just aquired a 68 GTS 4speed H code, question is would you keep the manual brakes & steering or upgrade to power?
Drums front and rearDrum or disc brake on front? If drum, I would upgrade to factory disc.
I’d try to find some kelsey hayes brakes assuming your GTS still has small bolt pattern wheels. It’ll keep car manual brakes I used a 15/16 bore master on my 65 and I like the way it stops now.Drums front and rear

Yep, the brake booster on A bodies looks hideous and takes up a lot of space.I don’t like the look of the power brake booster so I was thinking of keeping the manual master
I'm going to keep what the car was born with.Welcome to the site, my vote is for disc brakes too.
However, I would go with the bbp discs from a '73 and up a-body, and put bbp axles in the rear.
They are better than the sbp brakes and the parts are a lot cheaper and easier to find to boot.
I would also keep the manual brakes, just use the 15/16'' pistoned master cylinder.
IF you are doing a TRUE restoration, keep the 10'' drum brakes and manual master it came with and rebuild both, they really aren't as bad as some people think when they are in good working order..........
Good choice.I'm going to keep what the car was born with.
Good choice.
