I'm running the magnum 380 crate cam with hughes heads and 1.7 harland sharp rockers. What's a good converter with that combo? Also have a 904 trans. And 4:10 gears

I didn’t know anyone even made 1.7 rockers for Mopar, guess I’m outta the loop. Give all your specs to Frank Lupo’s Dynamic transmissions, they’re very good! I would guess for street and strip around 3000 stall.

1.7 for Magnum head pedestal rockers which had 1.6 from the factory

Street or strip?
Car weight?
Tire size?
Do you have a dyno sheet?

These are the questions that will be asked of you for zeroing in on building your converter.

Your question is very general. If it were I.....
3500 street strip, 5K strip.
Huge difference.

Frank Lupo @ Dynamic
Lenny @ Ultimate
And the list goes on and on....

I race it a dozen times a summer.
Weighs 3300 with me in it.
26-8.5 slick
No dyno sheet but runs 12.4-5@110 in the 1/4 with 1.88 60 foot.

Got a couple of questions. What brand of plugs are you using? What is your timing set at? I have the same engine in my 66 Dart and have no idea where to start. I bought it somewhat assembled.

I'm using NGK's, and I'm running around 26* initial 36* total all in by 2800rpm. I have my vacuum advance blocked off.

Just getting mine back together. I have my timing set at 10* initial. Not sure of total yet. It's a 4-speed car with I believe 4.10 gears. Gonna be a street car 99.9% of the time.

Appears you have plenty to work with.(Information provided above)
I am running a 408 Magnum with a 2800-3000 stall, also with a 904 & a 3:91. timing @ 24 with 34 total. It has not been on a dyno or at the track.
DUI ign. Seems fine. Just need to put it on the dyno.
