I don’t think they got rich on the deal. Heck when I couldn’t get the free shipping added to mine the shipping quote was over 200.00 from California to Pa.
Agreed. They just turned some inventory. (turned it into cash)

He was seduced by trickflow cheeseburgers after trying the cheap chinese food! :D
YR says he's going to have a couple booths at the performance swap meet..
I'll pretend to be a potential buyer while you sneak away with the W2 heads...lol..

lol, I will be at my mopar buddy's booth and hopefully YR will sell out early and be hanging with us but we will all be there. I guess they might have one of those am/pm style do it yourself cheeseburgers in a tinfoil wrapper there?

I probably wouldn't eat there.. I'll go grab a burger afterwards or something but not too much on that swap meet food stuff...
Do you know when it is? It's usually at the end of January isn't it?..

It will be you're chance at meeting YR and me at the same place/same time and see once and for all we are not alter egos/bots lol.
like I said how do you go for years and years and not run into somebody around here at a car show and swap meet Dragstrip or buying or selling a part...
It's going to take us what lesson 6 months to meet each other... See how simple it is...

Selling your heads already? What the heck were you thinking when you bought them?..
I'm thinking my thinking was not thought out and I think I need to think things through more thoroughly next time You think?:realcrazy:

LOL. I was at the swap meet...I can't remember the year...maybe 2017???? when you got lost, had to stop for a donut and then finally found you're way there LOL.

I was first in line and I was long gone by the time you got there.

I'm for the most part a get there early and get on with it type of guy. This year, I'll be there until the bloody end because I have a booth.

Seems like the same thing with Cam's as well... :poke:..lol...
Yeah, probably does. I could make a short story long here, but......what the hell, bought those SM heads all jacked up thinking I'll slap em on that 90 beater W-150 with a 318 I'm rebuilding vs. rebuilding the 302 heads. Got the heads and was mesmerized by that alloy and shiney valves. Then got to thinking damn, I was planning on redoing my vans 410 with the EQ heads, ditching the 1.92 intakes with 2.02 valves and some big time porting....why not put those glistening alloy SM's on the 410 after porting the **** out of them, grind and tube, do it all myself (cause I'd love to do that) and just send the 302's (for the beater) out to a shop for a basic refresh. So zzzzzzzz sent the heads to the shop for the beater, looked over the SM's for the 410, got to thinking I don't have the time this go round to do all that head work and have to send them out for a valve job. And for flow likely not what I'd hope it would be. By the time I get to that point I'd just be better off with the Trick Flows....and boom! I'm done with heads. And besides, I've wanted a set of TF's since they were announced and bigger cam etc cause I want more........you still awake?

Or they finally dug to the back corner of the warehouse and found a set..:poke:..
LOL....
LIFO Last in, First out. In warehouse terms, the oldest inventory stays on the shelf. The newly stocked items get sold first. Unless it's food, noone rotates their stock. LOL

Mine got here the 17th. The hold up was they were out of the intakes. They sent me a polished one. The casting is horrible. Good thing Im a tool and die polisher, I will blend it all in then sand blast it and have it silver powder coated. By the way, the date is 03/2017

I went for the regular 170cc complete SB heads, a billet nitrous bottle bracket, and the $7 billet handle dipstick (why not?).

As my luck would have it one head looks great (visual check only), just the usual shavings in tapped holes below the helicoils:

While the other had such bad core shift in one intake port that that you can stack pennies behind the ledge. It looks like somebody hit both sides with a carbide and let it go.

Of course, the port is broken through into the bottom of the valve cover hole, but worse than some of the CNC ported ones:

Here is the step from inside, looking back with a bore scope, it must be 3/16"+:

I would have just cleaned it up when I do the other touching up, but I don't know what else is off or if there's thin spots with water around it anywhere. Jason at Speedmaster had me send this one back (their pre-paid label), they got it back at the first of the week, and I got an email from him yesterday that they have sent a replacement. I hope this next one is okay, fingers crossed!

Remember they sent me a set of Ford heads.. same thing just called them and talk to them sent them back with their label and they sent me out Mopar heads LOL..
In order to make things so inexpensive they have to keep employee costs down by having a small staff and a large quantity of product going out... It says right on that sheet that comes with them to inspect them... They'll take care of you let's see what the next one looks like....
as the big question goes what was the date on the one that was sent back and the one that you have and the one that you're going to get when the time comes???....
