Holley Sniper Throttle and Kickdown linkage

I finally got around to upgrading the fuel system on the 69 Barracuda, and I'm very disappointed with the Holley kit.

What did everyone use to connect the throttle & kick-down linkage?

It looks like there's another $30 kit Holley didn't tell me about when ordering my $1000 throttle body unit, but I'd want to be sure that will work before wasting any more time.

I roughly mocked up the Sniper on my 1969 340 Cuda 727 and it looked like it will install OK. It will need a modified throttle bracket to get a bit more throttle travel. I plan on making my own and will be getting at it in the next couple of weeks. I'm going to be using the Edelbrock RPM intake instead of the stock CI one.

It looks like you’re a lot closer than I was with the kickdown and throttle cables. I ended up going with the full Lokar setup. It wasn’t cheap, but it looks nice. I have the RPM Air Gap manifold.

How is your clearance between air cleaner and hood?? I think the air gap manifold is even taller than the RPM. I had to use a drop base air cleaner.

I fabricated an adapter plate so I could get the correct travel for the tranny kickdown linkage. I cut off the top part of the Sniper linkage to make the new plate fit. I wanted to keep the stock linkage, but the Lokar setup looks great.
