I have a guy that wants to clear out his stash of parts. Most of what he has are early Valiant parts. Fenders, doors, hoods and grilles. He has some alternators and starters, Slant six blocks and such. NO aluminum stuff. Hubcaps, 13" wheels, maybe some interior bits and pieces.
I told him that I'd help him clear out his yard but that I have no idea of what his stuff is worth. I could use some of his later stuff from a Little Red Express he had but the Valiant stuff is out of my area of knowledge.
Anyone care to put a fair value of this stuff? I plan to haul it all back here in the next few weeks and would prefer to NOT sit on this stuff forever. I usually deal with '67 and later cars.
Thanks, Greg

Greg, it's a shame you're on the opposite side of the world. I would be interested in 225 stuff, but the cost to ship would be absolutely prohibitive. Thanks for posting this. Maybe some of it will find a good home.

The 60-62 Valiants and Lancers are a separate breed. If you post a list of parts for sale, perhaps @slantsixdan can give some guidance on values.

The owner of this stuff has asked me to come get all the stuff but since I called him yesterday, he has yet to return my call.
I was at his place over the Summer. Lots of hubcaps, intake and exhaust manifolds, starters and alternators, fenders, doors, hoods and grilles. A few engine blocks. It may be 2 truck and trailer loads of stuff. I'll gladly update this thread once I have more to report.

Still watching:popcorn:

When you get the parts inventoried and priced start some sale threads. You know the drill. Sounds like some members will be patiently waiting. Thanks KD

No problem TMM or KD just showing that there is still some of these out there that need parts so he really isnt wasting his time.

Cool Toad Mr Sinister. I haven't seen a close up photo of the car in your avatar. Looks like fun!

Came from Scottsdale and raced at BeeLine Dragway still has a faded track decal on left quarter glass.

Yes VERY light  not scaled yet but I had to tell my 12 year old daughter to stop pushing it around the barn:lol:

Im probably gonna get a beating but Im going 340. All Mopar right down to iron heads.
She will run like a scalded dog with a 340 in there! Easier to hook up than with a stroker. Perfect choice!

I'll be dragging back more stuff this weekend. So far I've made 2 trips and the stuff has been mostly worthless. Stock starters, 1 barrel intakes, drum brakes, skinny torsion bars, P/S pumps, A/C compressors, crusty oil pans and valve covers, warped door panels, Half of a 66 Imperial Grille....You get the idea.

Not trying to be a smart *** just trying to be simpathetic to yesterdays post, thinking maybe he doesn't have what he thinks.
